One of the best black metal songs ever made. Is extremely difficult to play it on a guitar and has an amazing chord combination. Ihsahn is an incredible composer, no doubt of it

Since i first listened to Black Metal, Emperor has been my favorite. It is not normal music, It is a masterpiece, It is Magic in it's darkest and most perfect form.

Easilly one of the best Black Metal songs of all time. Excellent musicians, and an exceptional live act. Emperor trully are Black Metal masters.

And I especially like that Ihsahn plays the ending solo longer here than on the record.
This song is the first i ever heard from Emperor, about 9-10 years ago, and 2 weeks later i bought the album from which this song comes, plus the other older albums. WOW... just WOW!

This is Black/Viking metal at its FINEST, most beautiful, brutal and refined. Emperor is the only band to revive (and even surpass) what bands like Metallica and Iron Maiden did in the 70's and 80's. Everything is here. Everything is intense, tense and beautifully constructed. Every segment is flawless and communicate with each other in a flawless fashion. Other great bands like Arcturus and Satyricon had their moments (even Dimmu Borgir) but Emperor is the greatest metal band since the 80's.
