    I’ve just my found this video. I’m going to build a model of the 3./St.G2 JU 87B T6-KL that was shot down during the Battle Of Britain. My father was photographed on the wing of it pulling out an ammunition belt, and was given a postcard sized photo of him by the photographer sometime later. I’ll probably buy a couple of kits so that I can practice airbrushing, it’s been a while. Very useful lists of paint needed, and technique. Many thanks.

    Q A) I like the relaxed style it somehow makes me feel comfortable and take things in. The gentle piano music really helps aswell (speaking as a Led Zepelin fan). Q B) Nothing. Q C. It suits me if you stick to WWII aircraft. Specifically? Italeri 1/48 CR42 Falco. The result you achieved again is stunning. I built an ooollllldddd Lindberg 1/48 Stuka I bought dirt cheap on ebay as an re-introduction to modelling, oh deary me, the machine gun looks like a bazooka and the parts fit where they touch but I did my best for an ageing beginner. Thank you sir.

    I like that you’re building Airfix and Revell kits. Shows how far these labels have come in the past few years and the quality builds that can be had by even us mere mortals. Keep up the great work and I’m looking forward to further inspiration. I also like the build format with occasional subtitles.

      I grew up with Airfix and Revell... (and an occasional matchbox!!)... So I have learned to like them... And yes, they have come way far indeed.. I recall older kits where the flash outweighed the model parts!! However, I have to admit that there are other European brands (like ICM and Eduard) which are just as good... Thank you for your comment!

    Nice job, WBP. In 1/48 that must be a large finished kit!
    I'll answer you questions:
    a. I like the build sequence and you showing your steps and what you are using to paint, or weather, or whatever;
    b. The part I liked the least (I don't want to say I didn't like it), was the portions where you had four views going at the same time... it was a bit hard to watch what was going on, especially for someone that wants to see everything as an aid for learning;
    c. Any planes would be great! I find any military aircraft, older, or modern, to be very interesting, and I almost always learn something new that can help with my own model building.
    I really enjoyed the video and I'm looking forward to more.

    • @wbpsmodels3452

      Thank you Brett for watching and answering. The reason for multiscreens is that I have noticed that most viewers don't watch the whole vid, especially if it's too long and filled with tedious details... So I try to group some tedious details (like deburring all parts, priming or gluing small details) in multiscreen so that I can compress the time. Thank you for your kind words :)

    Thank you for another incredible build.....an amazing outcome and a beautifully completed model. What I like about your channel is that you build without any "extras", basically OOB, or fancy methods.....just straight a forward build with the basics covered. I also enjoy seeing the bigger scales....such as 1/32 as this is the one I only build (old hands and poor eyesight unfortunately). As to what to build.....whatever you like....I'm just happy to watch your work! Robert

    I like the selection of themes and the down to earth approach with no exotic materials or after market. I also like the colors and ratios at every step.
    You could have edited the spraying while smoking part.
    The subjects you are building are very close to what i like so don't change anything there.

      Thank you very much for your kind words :) I'm trying to make models as large as they fit in my display... In general, I prefer building larger scales (32, 24) cause they're easier for my eyes.. but sometimes they're too large (or too expensive).. I had an 1:48 B-29 built little before I started the channel... it was a beast, nearly 90cm wingspan.. There's no display to put that thing... Next one will be a 1:32 Dauntless... Stay tuned!

    I like your videos. I'd like to see you do a build with all hand painting bc that's how I paint my models. I'd love to see you do a P61 Black Widow or B17. I'd also like for you to take a terrible kit like a Revell/Monogram and take us step by step through the entire build with correcting the bad areas like fit, canopies, raised panel lines etc.

    • @wbpsmodels3452
      @wbpsmodels3452  3 роки тому

      Fixing a terrible kit sounds like quite a challenge... I'm not so sure I'm up to the task yet.. But eventually i WILL come across a poorly designed kit and then we'll see.. As for a B17, I already have one 1:72 B17 in my stash... so stay tuned! Now, as far as hand painting goes... I'm not so sure I'd do that, since I have found that the airbrush does a better job... Thank you for answering and watching, Adam :)

    Great build! Very nice result. In your channel I like the fact that you use subtitles and the background music I also like that you indicate percentages of thinning. As I like to learn from other modelers, it would be nice if you could indicate what thinners you use and the airbrush pressure. I'm not fond of the multiscreen because it is impossible to follow all four windows at the same time. As for planes, my preferred ones are any military plane from WWII onwards

    • @wbpsmodels3452
      @wbpsmodels3452  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you for watching and your comment. I Don't indicate thinner because I make my own thinner (using Water and IPA) - perhaps some day soon I'll create a video of my workshop and materials and tools etc... The Pressure for my airbrush is not indicated because I regulate the air flow with the valve on the airbrush - generally, my compressor is set up at 2 - 2.5 Bar.

    Fantastic build! I like that you build WW2 aircraft. I find the spilt screen a little confusing and hard to follow when there are four sperate windows. I would like to see a build of the new tooled Airfix Bristol Beaufort preferably in scheme B

    • @wbpsmodels3452
      @wbpsmodels3452  3 роки тому

      Thank you for watching Barry... The split screen is used mainly to cover small menial details to save time, since long videos are generally not preferable to the majority of the viewers.. As for the new Beaufort, it definitely is a model worth building.. After my stash is somehow diminished, it will be added to the list.

    Great video. I agree with others that the multi screen was a bit much. Made me dizzy watching :/. Other than that superb video. Honestly been wanting to see someone build the Enola Gay, Blackbird, Nighthawk, or a straight up custom design. That would be awesome to watch. In the end though it's your channel and your models. I'll watch no matter what :)

    • @wbpsmodels3452

      Thank you very much! I completed the 1:48 B-29 by Monogram by late 2019, which I had started in 1989!! it was a huge beast... it wouldn't fit on cam!! (I have posted some pics in some FB modelling groups).. I'd reconsider doing the new platinum edition, if it wasn't so freakishly huge and expensive... You see, the problem with huge models, apart from making them on a medium sized bench, is storing them somewhere... My IKEA display can't even accommodate some of my 1:32 fighter builds... As for the other suggestions... I haven't started making post WWII planes yet.. and for the time being, my plans (and stash) don't include any such. Again, thank you for watching. Stay tuned :)

    Great build! I am currently building the exact same model, and am experiencing some problems. When i stuck the engine on, it sat on a lopsided angle, and no matter how much adjustment I do, it continuously goes back to its original position. I checked to see if i had glued pieces on the engine at different points, but no, everything lined up. I was wondering if you experienced similar problems and how did you solve them.

    • @wbpsmodels3452
      @wbpsmodels3452  2 роки тому +1

      I had that problem on a previous Stuka build by italeri (no vid on that one) but the Revell one didn't pose such a problem... Usually, when I encounter such problems, I use Tamiya fast glue and keep holding the pieces together till they are set.

    A great build with some excellent painting techniques. However, disappointing you did not apply the swastikas to the model.
    For me models are miniatures of the real thing and I don’t have time for people who are offended by history.
    Not one Stuka in Luftwaffe service never displayed the marking.
    I appreciate you have to be considerate of other peoples feelings but frankly if they are offended they can not look can’t they?
    Anyway not wishing to get embroiled in a political debate you should feel free to exercise your personal choice but if it was me I would have depicted the aircraft as it was.
    Otherwise great work 👍🏻😎

      Truth be told, I didn't go out of my way to add a swastika to the model and none was provided with the model's decals. When one is supplied, I will use it (you can see that in my 1:32 BF or the FW TA151 vids) although swastikas DO pose some problems (for example some major FB model groups do not allow posts with swastikas)... At any rate, thank you for watching :)
