Hi buddy amazing build and paint job. love the weathering well done I've got this kit hope I can do a good job like you.thank you for sharing mate.cheers Gary 🇬🇧
Excellent work! The intrincated splinter camo patern takes a Lot of time, and a great amount of masking tape too. Joachim Helbig and his Fire Brigade of the Mediterranean (4/Lerhgeschwader 1 in the Luftwaffe base of Eleusis ) maybe proud with the results of your wonderful work. Sincharytíria! ¡Dáskalos Schediastís! ¡Efcharistó kai ta léme syntoma!
Sorry to hear that but not terribly surprised tbh . I've built 4 -C6s from Dragon and Revell kits as well as other versions and, for their "issues", all turned out well . The one ICM kit i built - bought with great excitement the day it arrived in the shop - was a great disappointment. Poor fit wasn't much of an issue, more incorrect (or omission of) detail . Mine is an -A5 converted to a -C4 . I was curious to see if ICMs -C6 was any better but suspected it would have many of the same errors as the one i built .
Very nice work! I have bought the kit too, I`m amazing to begin with working. Thank you. 🙂Sehr schöne Arbeit, ich habe mir auch das Modell gekauft und kann es nicht abwarten es zu bauen.
I started the C-6 night fighter version of this ICM kit and gave up in absolute disgust. The plastic was very soft, parts were ill fitting(short shotted), and seam lines that just wouldn't disappear(soft plastic). To anyone attempting the night fighter- be afraid, be very afraid. However kudos on your A-4 build. Definite two thumbs up!
it's A5 but thank you nonetheless! :) by the way, the plastic was rather soft in this model too, but I consider this to be a plus: easier to clean from flash and more bendy. At any rate, thank you again!
@@joemurphy601 A mate of mine also started the kit at the same time I did and he had exactly the same issues, so it's the kit not the builder.😊 I look at all the other ICM nightfigter kits I'd like to build but the C-6 has scared me off. I'd prefer a 90's era Dragon C-6 than the ICM kit. 😁 Cheers
I bought the -A5 the day it appeared in my local shop and was disappointed within minutes of opening the box . It has far too many details that are either incorrect or absent altogether . I converted mine to a -C4 fighter ; it turned out ok but as a kit is not a patch on the old Dragon/Revell kits .
Great job! I love the Ju-88. Germany's all around aircraft. Where is the Swastika on the vertical stabilizer? I always include that. I know that there are sensitive people and feelings, but to be historically correct, there should be all the markings.
To be frank, there was no swastika in the decal sheet... and I didn't go out of my way to create one, even if admittedly I should. On the other hand, a post of my 1:32 BF 109 (which DID include a swastika and was made a few months after the Ju88 ) was banned from some pages where it was posted due to that reason... Therefore, although I agree that historically it is proper to have that symbol in the rudder, I decided that even if I use such symbol, it will be attached after the video is uploaded, for my personal collection only. At any rate, thank you for watching :)
This stand was made by a friend who likes to make contraptions like this using a laser cutter, here in Greece. For the time, he isn't ready to sell abroad. Once he takes this step, I will post all relative info in my channel, stay tuned! Thank you for watching.
Very nice kit but unfortunately a lot of time the fine details like those seats are lost to the eye when the fuselage halves are put together. I built a 1/32 Tamiya P-51D and I detailed the cockpit but it's very hard to see unless you eyeball it REAL close. Nice work.
Honestly I don't know.. I haven't built the Revell kit, neither have I seen it... I'm sure that if that is a new tool kit, it will be formidable as most Revell kits are nowadays.
@@wbpsmodels3452 , thank you. I think the Revell kit is round 30 years old. I found it cleanly molded, though I hear it has errors of design and accuracy. These are solvable for a skilful builder.
moello acccattivante,ma orribile nel montaggio, almeno nella confezione revell tanti pezzi deformati;ali, carenature motori, motori che non alloggiano nel suo spazio, istruzioni indecenti
Mask up a swastika for the tail. All this ridiculous virtue signalling is pointless; the aircraft itself represents oppression; they were built by slave labour and used by a regime driven by racial purity. Omitting a tail marking is the least of the worries!! Great build. Subbed.
Thank you for watching, subbing and commenting... Truth be told, I was kinda worried about showing a swastika, I have heard about channels and vids being banned because of showing the damn thing...
@@wbpsmodels3452 yes, it's ridiculous; swastika bad but aeroplanes built by slave labour to oppress other peoples in the name of a racially pure master race...? Muh, no problem. I've just done an airfix 1/72 me262, same issue.
@Jim Goose you must've missed the bit where I wrote "mask up a swastika for the tail". Nice try projecting your "shandy-drinking paranoia"; it's a tiresome and well-worn lefty play, however.
@Jim Goose try being a woketard? No thanks. Sooner be called racist, ignorant, bigot, mysogynist, and all the other now meaningless insults than become blinkered to what the wokey-revolution is all about. You play the minion by all means, and good luck, but as much as you surely champion the rights of every minority on every bandwagon so that you can assume the moral high-ground in some kind of self-affirmation, self-congratulatory, faux-intelligencia kind of way, I'm choosing not to be such a minion. That'll be unacceptable to your superior self, because it's not an "acceptable" minority, nor "acceptable" thought. Have an opinion as long as it is the right opinion!! I guess that's where your wokery stops and your hypocrisy starts; it always does. Being brow-beaten into what to think leads to the kind of regime that my OP was about, ironically. Best wishes, Jim. I really mean it.
Nice work. ICM is knocking out the twin engined aircraft.

Thanks a lot for your kind words :)
Nice work! That looks like a very well engineered kit. Great video - thanks.
Thank you very much. It was a nice kit indeed.
It's a mediocre kit at best .
Easily your best build to date. Great work, keep it coming.
best from New Zealand.
Thank you Ian! :) Greetings from Greece!

such a good idea - the microwave plate spinner!

Faaantastic!!!!!!!!!congratulation for this super plane!!!!👍👍😎

There’s more parts to the seats than the fuselage!
Great build. Inspired me to finally bust out mine.
How did you get on with yours ?
@@jimmytgoose476 not well. The JU-88C engines do not fit. They’re requiring a lot of clean up to get looking nice. It ended up back on the shelf.

Awesome work my friend keep up the good work
Thank you very much Juan :)
Great work. Congratulations! Excellent model. Have been choosing now between ICM and Dragon, and probably will win ICM
Thank you very much! I haven't seen any Dragon models, so I can't express an opinion, but the ICM one seemed quite good.. it was my first too.
BUY THE DRAGON KIT !!
This one sucks .
Good video. Very informative, learned a lot.

I also have brought ICM kits and found the same problems!! I get the feeling they are for diorama modellers.

Vallejo black grey is RLM66. RLM 70 is black green. Great build, this is my next project. L1+AM
Thank you! :) I hadn't notice my mistake until you mentioned it.. Indeed the interior was painted with RLM66, not 70. :)
@@wbpsmodels3452 No worries my friend. If my A5 finishes half as good as your one I will consider it a job well done. Great stuff.

How does this kit compare with the Revell 1:48th-scale kit of the Junkers JU-88A4 Luftwaffe Schnellbomber?

The old Dragon/Revell kits are far superior to the ICM kits .
Where did you get your jig from?
Some guy here in Greece makes them... he isn't interested in exporting them (yet).. :(
whats the wingspan of the model in cm?
As shown in 1:36, wingspan is 41.8 cm.
