If anyone's ever actually toured or going to tour, here's some advice. Don't buy 1500 dollar in ears, just to get them lost, stolen or damaged on the road. I've found Shure SE215's for 99 bucks is more than enough if you're grinding on the road in a van with other people, this way if something happens to them, a quick stop at guitar center can replace them and you're not out a ton of money. I keep my nice in ears in the studio for tracking/playing along to songs. Just my two cents. Great vid.
SO true. I had a pair of my IEMs crap out on me literally right before a show while out in another state for a gig. Simple run down to GC to pick up another set up SE215s and we were back in business. Tried and true for the road.
I've had great luck with 2 different price tiers of Shure IEMs over the years. I play bass and drums, so I need the low end response for sure (or for "Shure" 😂), and these SE-215 and SE-535 have done a great job with sound quality and longevity. However, if these are what you say they are, I will do some research and strongly consider a pair
I’m an audiophile and a drummer and if u want a cheaper set of inears that are most likely better than those kz ones, go with the kz zsn pros, just reduce the bass by just a little bit and you’re like golden for drumming, the v-shape with extra bass and extra treble that they give is perfect for us, everything is about them is very average from a pure listening stand point but for 20-30$ can’t go wrong imo, and I’ve listened to rlly nice iems, my daily drivers are moondrop arias, I adore those for listening but don’t like em for drumming as their soundstage makes them weaker for drumming cuz it makes shit harder to hear
My guy Jack at Empire Ears is the man. Love my custom ears I've gotten from them and have lasted for the past 8 years. Awesome low end but articulated highs. 9 drivers will do that though :)
I can’t seem to find in ears that cancel out sound enough. So when I’m gigging I have to turn the click right up to compensate and my ears ring 😞 I use can headphones now but I look like a noob lol
How's the kickdrum and bass feel on the UE 11s? I play the bass and currently use the UE 7s and everything's nice and well, however I always felt a lack of punch coming from the bass and especially the kickdrum (very difficult to hear with the band playing), even with some serious eq on. UE are recommending the 11s for bass players as well and I'm pretty much tempted to upgrade and would love an opinion from an actual user :) Thanks!
Gotta say for the price/sound, I'm very disappointed in my custom UE5 pros. I may should have went with the UE6, but my cheap KZ dual driver, and 8 driver CCA iems absolutely blow the custom ultimate ears away
He’s talking abt drummers specifically rather than musicians at large. Cuz our instrument is quiet unique and requires a lot more sound isolation and things like that
Ive always loved the look of IEMs and always wanted them but, I dont have mic's on my drums with you know, the interface and pre amps and all that jazz lol. I just have my phone for now lmao. But if i ever do get some i would love to get these ultimate ears because i think they look the like the best ive seen. Next to the drumeo ones of course 😊

Exactly. All I listen to is a click anyway. Why do I need super high end in ears to listen to a click…
I do the same. I have a main pair of IEM that stay put, and 2 pair of SE 215 for the road. They do great whether I'm behind the kit or playing bass
@@chrisggoodwin777 I do this too. I have an emergency spare pair of SE215’s just in case my main ones die.

how' the sound isolation on the zsn pros for the stage or louder rehearsal situations?
If you got a budget around 100$ get the Letshuoer S12
