You are such a good teacher,I appreciate how you explain even detailed instruction. So excited to do my first tumbler and ordered my turner from amazon yesterday. So Excited. Thanks
Ok so I’m a ding bat once again! I can’t find my comment to edit it but I see that the Esmeralda is the purple!! (I just woke up and I thot I saw like a dark green/blue (almost like that mica color shift you have) being put on!! Wowzers I must need coffee first!! Lol
Kristi I absolutely Love this tumbler it’s so Beautiful! Another Awesome job sweet lady! Thank You So Much for sharing! As Always Blessings from Arkansas!♥️
I have a question. If I have a all black stainless steel tumbler do I have to sand it down and paint over it? I don’t want to add glitter. Just a puncture and vinyl. I’m new to all of this. Hopefully someone can help me out. I really love the video.
I have done it where I just epoxied straight over the colored stainless but I can't guarantee that you will get a really good seal on it. You can definitely do it though.
@@KristisCustomCreations I totally understand. That’s the hardest part. Maybe shipping in bags instead of bottles internationally might help with shipping costs?
@@christines2451 it would still weigh about the same. I need to look at it a little closer.. I just don't know about all the customs stuff to ship to Canada...
@@KristisCustomCreations oh ya. I don’t know either. I will say that from previous things I have ordered from the states, your best bet if you do figure it out is to find out the customs costs and add that into your delivery fee. Some companies charge the delivery then the client has to pay customs when they receive it and for a customer that is harder to do it’s an u expected fee. I understand your dilemma it’s not easy for you. It sucks!
Hi!! I have a few questions for ya. Im FINALLY getting around to using Tumblerpoxy for the first time and it will also be my first time ever putting any kind of epoxy on a tumbler. I just want to make sure I don’t jack this up lol 1. How long do I wait between coats? 2. Can I build layers with Tumblerpoxy then add Swiftpoxy as the final coat? (I ordered Swiftpoxy yesterday with their sale) 3. Can I sand glitter tumblers after the first coat? 4. How long should I let it spin on the turner before letting it rest for the duration of curing time? 5. What is the curing time? Any tips and tricks will be greatly appreciated.
I would wait about 5 hours between each coat, yes, you can build layers and add Swift epoxy as the final coat. I don't sand tumblers after the first coat, I always have at least two coats on before I sand. It needs to spend on the Turner for at least four or five hours before you can stand it up right. Total curing time is 72 hours but it is dry to the touch after about 8 to 10 hours.
I literally do not know what I’m doing wrong I sand my tumblers I washed them with Dawn dish soap then I wiped them down with 91% alcohol I’ll do my spray paint coat for the base and my resin is repelling. Is there a step I am missing ? I watch so many tutorials I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong and I don’t wanna continue to waste any more Tumblers
@@KristisCustomCreations my base layer and depending on what is on my cup sometimes the second layer as well. I’m going to try the acetone and start trouble shooting there. Could I possibly be over sanding?
@@amandaturner1962 I don't think over sending would cause that. Only use the acetone on the stainless, don't wipe the epoxied cup with it. After I wash my epoxied cups with dawn dish soap, I just let them dry before the next coat of epoxy. Also, sometimes not using enough epoxy causes the repelling/fisheyes

Lol! It is purple but it's a color shifting glitter so it does kinda show some blues in it when it shifts. 🥰
Thank you for the video ..I've seen this brand at Costco..very pretty!
Thank you for watching 🥰
Thank you so much for showing how do prep these for epoxy. My family has brought me several to do for them. Lol.
Is the purple one of your glitters?? It’s beautiful!! So is the Esmeralda!!

This colour shifting glitter is absolutely beautiful. Still waiting for the day you ship to Canada. Lol
Lol! Still trying to figure that out... Shipping out of country is SO expensive 😔

Try wiping with acetone instead of alcohol. What size cup are you doing and how much epoxy are you putting on it?
@@KristisCustomCreations I am using 18 and 20 oz cups and 5 to 10 mls of epoxy for the base layer
