Thanks for the great video. This was an easy fix and your video made it so much easier than trying to figure it out myself. The part number made it easy because I just gave it to the Ace Hardware guy and he went right to it. thanks again....
This was very helpful but I found that that bubble was just full of water so I took a knife and popped the bubble and water came out of it and reinstalled the valve seal and it stopped the leaking
Thank you. I have hard water unfortunately and its either that, replace the parts when needed, or our pipes will bust and resulting to a flood. It's the smaller of 2 evils.
Thanks a lot!!! Couldn't figure out why it was running. Thanks to you I fixed it in a couple of minutes. 👍😀
Oh yey!! I'm glad this helped! It took us forever too for the first one. I'm so happy! This was the reason for this video.
Excellent tutorial. I will go and buy the washer and fix our toilet today. I'm also teaching my teen children how to do this too. Thank you.

Oh wow. Thanks for sharing. So it works perfectly now? Just by popping the bubble? No continuous leaks?
Pop the bubble gently with a razor blade. Water will come out of the bubble and it flattens right back out. Good as new again.👍

Replaced the gasket, but it still keeps running.
I don't know which one is the gasket. Did you check the rubber? Did you watch the entire video?
Get those "bleach tablets" out of your tank! They break down those parts. The people that make/sell those probably won't tell you that.

If you find a tiny bubble on the gasket just pop it with a blade. Mine worked! Did not order the gasket.
It didn't leak or keep running the water after you popped the bubble?
Running toilet fills your cesspool😔
And this is how some people's septic tanks overflow.
Funny dudes
haha
Good. But the gasket will go again and again. Best buy a new Toilet.
The problem isn't rhe toilet. If you do that. You will keep changing a new toilet very often. Is that what happened?
