They could have easily given the guards realistic 180 peripheral vision and 200 metres of vision/hearing range. Only needs number adjustment, nothing more. However it is very difficult to make stealth AI that looks realistic but is fun to play against. Besides, even a very good gamer will not be doing half of this shit. This dude has 1000s of hours in the game, he practically knows their detection cone to the millimetre.
So smooth, unique, and interesting stealth execution here. If it were me, I would normally sneak, walk slowly, get behind and grab. You did pretty darn good job here!

it's very useful when a guard is reaching for his knife after you hold him up from a prone position. then when he's on the ground hold him up again for a 100% chance of subduing him

I think most of his stealth videos are just mix of hard work, lotta frustration and a lot more timing calculation 😂 but totally worth the frustration and headaches when UA-cam is giving em big bucks you know...
