I’m reading “The Inmate” by the same author. I also made peppers and onions with andouille sausage. The leftovers with eggs the next morning was awesome. I have made the soup before and it is so good. Love watching and adding to my menus. The kids are really growing. Thank you, we all need fun in our life.

I joined your PhD group and have been strict carnivore since January 1st. Doing it solely for my autoimmune diseases (Hashimotos -1 year ago), Crohn's(diagnosed this January). I appreciate that I found you and your hubby and so many more carnivore and keto experts. But I'm not gonna lie, this lifestyle is very isolating and booooooring. I am not a fan and it's sooo consuming. So I hear and feel you. I am burnt out on all of it but will do it as long as I'm getting better and healing. The balance is so necessary for us to maintain our sanity. I support the keeping this channel light hearted and fun and not more diet talk. ❤

I’m in the group too but I’m curious if you eat chicken ? I’ve been told chicken is super high in estrogen and to stop eating it. Oh, Also pork. I know my Hashimotos and hypo and severe skin issues from rosacea to psoriasis is not getting better so I am starting to ask carnivores what meats are they consuming. Ty🙏🏻 God bless.

Yes I eat chicken and I eat bacon. Because holy smokes I can't just eat one thing over and over.
We did get half a cow in January so I definitely have plenty of beef options. I guess I can also add lamb. But the chicken I get is always organic pasture raised 🧐not sure if that makes a difference. I do a lot of chicken stock, especially when I'm not into eating. The fact that this is so complicated is beyond frustrating. We shouldn't have to struggle this much around food. It's absurd.

I think a lot of people are focusing on themselves more this year. I certainly am. I just get tired of watching food videos all the time. I loved your book vid you did a few days ago as I'm also an avid reader . Decided to focus more on things that I enjoy doing and getting off the phone so much.
I really appreciate you. You have me to the point where I know I can do this now, switching to Ketovore. I get bored really easy and get tired of beef. I saw a video of yours yesterday and tried an Egglife, yum. Mixed my burger with cilantro, onion and taco seasoning and today I had a dried up Turkey in my refrigerator. I may have gone too far on this one, I put the Turkey in my bullet and it chopped up fine, added a little mayo, tomatoes, chopped lettuce and 8 slices of bacon which was a delicious Turkey Club in a bowl. Your creativity is teaching me well. I just received my “A Court of Thorns and Roses” in the mail and look forward to reading again. Thanks so much Neisha. You are such a special person.

Great to hear you will using UA-cam as a creative outlet. It’s really hard to stay motivated when you feel like work spills over into the thing that was suppose to be just for yourself. Work-life balance is sometimes a fine line but we have to know when to set up boundaries for our own mental health!!

I love your channel. I cannot remember if i found you or your husband first but I've been watching your channel for years. I remember watching your videos while my now 7 almost 8 year old was napping on my lap. I started watching your channel when my health issues started popping up but i was mostly looking for some advice on keto. Unfortunately i listened to people who told me it was a bad idea especially pregnant and breastfeeding. Years later i am now dealing with an autoimmune disease . I tried medication and reacted. Rather than be upset i decided i was going to spend some time watching these videos and dive in. Your story is a huge reason why in the mist of all this heartache... because as you well know being sick like this is heartbreaking.... i have hope that i will walk out of this season into healing. Joy is the key. You go girl! Find your path of least resistance and enjoy the things that you want to attract. The contrast teaches us what we do not want so that we know what we do want. You want joy and peace because you know what the opposite feels like. Now your body is settling. The drama is settling, and you can find a more peaceful and joyful life of contentment. It is lovely to watch your rose blooming.

I've been a carnivore for the past few months, with a little veg and dairy. Also been part of PhD group as well. Really trying to get a handle on inflammation, dealing with MS, I'm a lot of water retention not just keeps going up and down. So I'll stay at it. I am trying to get back into reading I bought like 6-7 books in the last year, and have started on a few and kept seem to finish..😅

I followed your recommendation on those pans and got a set in black. I love them but they scratch very easily and it is crucial to use very low heat (which is all that's needed). I hope I can make them last because they're amazing so far. 🙌

The Lunar Chronicles are a YS fantasy fiction series if you need a light and quick series that is actually really good. They are all different fairy tales, and they layer on top of one another to make the final world/story. I did have to push through the first 3 chapters (bc it is based on fairy tales so you are able to predict things and want the story to move forward). It was good fun though! I really enjoyed them!
