It's not that he doesn't know how to smile or laugh, but he doesn't do it like neurotypical people (source: my partner is autistic). They learn to mirror other's reactions to fit into society. If someone else smiles, they smile back, if people laugh, they will learn to laugh with them (source: my partner's behavioral therapy)

I don't know why but this seems like the most authentic Jordan Schlansky. He's not playing anything up, not afraid to smile... either way a Jordan video is never a bad time.
I think it's because it's his first appearance with Conan so he was just being his true self. Through the years you can see him develop a more heightened version of himself that's more stoic and less emotional on camera. I agree though, there's no such thing as a bad Jordan video.

If he came to the podcast, I would stop all the various tasks that I was doing just to listen to that brilliant madness unfolding.
Sadly it can hardly happen. Only Conan can handle him. Everybody else gave me an inpression that they didn't wanna talk to him in Inside Conan Podcast. Even what Conan manages to put out is out of a bit of a struggle, I think. Otherwise they would have him as a guest all the time cause he's always demanded by people.

Wow you honestly can really tell how Conan was EXTREMELY tame compared to how he was once he got to TBS. You can tell that he acts like a more like an employee trying to appeal to the network vs. after this show and the tonight show, he turned into a dictator (in a comedic way and in the best way possible ofc 😂😂😂😂).
