This reality show was INSANE. They evidently had no health and safety people on set AT ALL. So many people got sick or injured. They filmed in like January in New Orleans and it was freezing and all they gave the past side people to wear was a few skimpy furs. Real Stone Age people actually wore enough clothing to, you know, keep themselves warm in winter, but the producers wanted them to look sexy. The people in the past side were at a disadvantage at every turn because they were constantly tired, cold and hungry, so they basically never got to switch sides. Jenny Nicholson did an in-depth video on it a couple of years ago and it is shocking, for real.
Well its a good thing it didn't stay the way for the whole season 🙃
That's so crazy, it's obvious no one tested this first challenge with the cattleprods as they're useless. No one on the team wanted to risk getting shocked clearly

This show was extremely dumb and dangerous. The winners were set from the beginning.
Since the people stuck in the past were always cold (it was winter and the producers gave them fewer clothes than actual cavemen), weak, sick (people actually got sick), little food, stressed, etc. they always lost the challenges. It's like a worse survivor.
Sounds like a better one to watch with stanz 😂

This show proves you can literally air yourself dropping a pile of diarrhea on the floor on TV. It seems like whoever came up with this idea fell out the 4th story window on his head and had to come up with a show while still being comatose.
Hey let's put these modern people with no actual wilderness experience into a under-equipped, misinterpreted room with no facilities they're used to in their common lives ot appropriate material for them to make clothing, and let them compete against a team fully equipped with things they're used to with any luxury they need or want. I wonder who would win.
