Nailed it with the fitness, from Perth and have been a few times now and I can’t believe how spent I was just after one set trying to paddle around, definitely a different environment to the ocean when you can just sit when your buggered! Great review!
Yeah - I’m in horrible shape at the moment 😂 But comparing this visit to my previous one in late 2020, my fitness let me down this time, and I couldn’t enjoy everything the experience had to offer.
It’s still great, but it could have been much more ✌️
Great review! When I visited I did two days and 3 sessions each day and I thought it was a bit too much. On both days I started with a couple of intermediate sessions and ended in an advanced one and by the third session it was tricky to make the steeper take off in the advanced turns part of the session. Next time I go, I reckon I will only do 2 sessions per day.
Hey! Yes, more days with only a few sessions each day is perfect!
And it’s so nice to just chill there ✌️
Great summary, so helpful.
Thanks - hope you enjoyed ✌️
Good info. Thanks Craig.
Glad it was helpful!
Great review and insights mate, heading there in a few weeks , yewww
Enjoy! Hope this helps, and you’re getting your sit-ups in so you’re fit as a fiddle! 😂
@@TheSurfboardGuide Taking the Dark Twin for sure, had another couple of surfs and it continues to amaze me , cheers legend.
Awesome review Craig!
Thanks - it was easy, it’s just so damn fun there!
Top review cheers 🇦🇺
Thanks - hope you get to check it out!
Great review Craig. Is that me getting rinsed at 20:53? 😂🤔
Nah, that’s me. But I’ve got a full 5 minute reel if you getting cooked… 😂
sick video, would u think a 28L in freshwater would feel more like a 26L for ex? When I went there my PU felt so slow, also the wave is pretty weak except the tube mode so that might not have helped
Hey! I don’t tend to change volumes between eps and PU, but I do think you want a little more foam in your board whatever you’re riding ✌️
What a review mate, do you think the AIPA dark twin will be similar to the Slater Flat earth shape to take it to the pool ? Cheers buddie!
They are similar but the flat earth is definitely more high performance and better in the pocket of a punchy wave, watch Noel salas comparing both
Hey! I haven’t ridden the Flat Earth, but the Dark Twinn has a lot of rocker and is very high performance and chatting with Duke Aipa he agrees, and said the Dark Twins and Flat Earth are like night and day…
Does it cost for non surfers to get in?
ie to watch or eat.
Hey! No, I think you can enter and watch for free. Just got to pay for sessions and then food & drink ✌️
