- When asked to make a peg bag by some viewers, and a covered clothes hanger by others, I figured this would be the perfect combo.
I'll show you how to draft your own pattern with your own hanger in mind, and with it being so versatile, you can use it as a covered hanger with a secret pocket to store cash and Jewels, or to store your clothes pegs for hanging out your laundry.

Hmm . . . Sometimes, I don’t know I want to make something until you show me. This looks like fun. Thank you, again.
I'm with you. I feel as though I need some more myself 😃
This is also a good idea for young children’s clothing when Mom or Dad is getting their clothes ready for school, etc. Hang the shirt and place folded shorts/pants along with socks and underwear, etc. I have a friend who did this for her six children, then taught them to do it for themselves. This idea would make great bridesmaid gifts. Maybe embroider their name. Accessories would be handy with their dress. Maybe a small pocket as well for jewelry. Thanks, Christine. Another winning video! Useful, great but easy instructions, with nice closeups. ❤😊
These are fabulous ideas Susan. Thank you 😃
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs Thanks, Christine. Glad I could pass on some ideas, a small contribution to your videos which are so very helpful. 🥰
Excellent tutorial! I can think of several uses for this project! Thanks, Christine.
You are so welcome Gloria 😃
Nice place to leave matching belt
It sure is Kathy 😃
Great idea especially if you have a motorhome, it would save a lot of space. You could add extra pockets as well xx
What a great idea😃
Christine I do enjoy your channel. This will make a lovely gift. I like that it has more than one potential use.
Thank you so much Eileen 😃
Brilliant idea, thanks for sharing.
You're welcome Giovanna 😃
Love this idea. Can use these to hang a coat and put gloves and scarf. Your projects are always so clearly explained.
That's a great idea Marie 😃
Thank you! Excellent video. I can also see using a child size hanger, putting their shirt on the hanger and their undies, socks and pants folded in the pouch. In the morning, all their clothes are ready to put on and getting ready for school is a much easier task! I used to do this by hanging the pants on the bar and rolling up the sleeves part way on the shirt to make a "pocket" for the socks on one side and for the underwear on the other side. It sure made the mornings better. I will be making some of these for clothespins -- I know several people who would appreciate them. I will probably make them out of something like PUL or coloured vinyl for use outside.
I love this idea for getting the kids clothes ready for school😃
I finished my bag and it looks great. I drafted a paper pattern so that I can make some as gifts and perhaps either embroider or use my cricut to decorate them. Thanks again for the instructions.
That's so awesome. Well done. The embroidery would be great too 😃
Well-explained process and very handy item to make, for sure! Nice to also use to contain any of the garment's accessories, such as a tie-on bow, scarf, belt, and any matching jewelry only worn with that item. I have a hard time with some long matching tie-on bows that come with certain blouses. When trying to keep them flat and unwrinkled, they hang to the floor and tend to slip off the hanger.
It'll be perfect for those. Great idea 😃
Love the tutorial, Christine! If using as a clothes hanger, you could also add pot pourri in the top portion if making as a gift, perhaps even using a more lacy or open weave fabric for the top part! Thanks for the video! Cheers :)
That's a Great idea Marianne 😃
Thank you very much for the video
You're very welcome 😃
Thank you so much for this great tutorial Christine. I love how you give wonderfully clear instructions.
Thank you Jenny 😃
Hi Christine. I make these too. I find it useful to add a neck strap so that it makes it easier when pegging out the washing to have it to hand. It works brilliantly for me anyway. Brenda from the UK.
That's a great idea Brenda 😃
Thank you! I've been meaning to make one of these.
You're welcome Elaine 😃

Christine thank you so much for this video as I have been looking for one with a clothes pin bag. I also love that one can be used for clothes and store’s accessories in it. As always this is a “win win” as we say here in America.
Thanks Connie. 😃

In most the the US we uses driers. Where I live it can rain all through the year, so clothes lines don’t exist.
It's always interesting to hear how other parts of the world function. We take our good weather for granted a lot I think 😃
I love hanging out my clothes here in Texas. Sure bets running that dryer!
in the North of France we have a weather very similar to England. I've always hanged out the washing out whenever possible. I've even gotten rid of the dryer now that there's only two of us. we only used it for towels. but I know that my daughter and mother in law use the dryer
You must be younger. People still use clothes lines in many of the states in the US. :)
@@shelley7975 Depends on the climate. We can’t use clothes lines west of the cascade mountain range in the Pacific Northwest.
