Hi Chandler, l like the ideas you shared for morning routine. What was helpful is not changing the wakeup time because l didn't get enough sleep. Part of my morning routine is reading my bible, praying and mediating on what l have read.

I am a morning person, I wake up at 4 in the morning. One thing I need to start doing is listening to myself telling me how blessed and awesome I am, that is a big help and I think this is a confidence booster.

This helped SO much. I’m a distracted creative creature- I make great lists, buy fabulous calendars and make schedules and to do lists in priorities ...BUT I have ZERO morning plan in reality, despite how my calendar dictates. In Analyzing my destroyers, I find that I spend time checking and answering email and texts and Facebook- which leads me to order online and an hour and a half later I have done NOTHING on my pretty scheduled morning routine. Limits, boundaries for this, and actually doing the same things before I touch my phone or tablet...and doing the healthy positive things I TRULY want to do- duh🙄- sounds so easy and great! I’m motivated by the simplicity. Thank you!

Those are great tips! Thank you. You've described the perfect morning routine everyone should follow. I love the cold shower method. Exercise is a definitely a must. Reading a book in my field of interest every morning is the best thing I've learned, and I practice it 7 days a week. I've read over 300 books over a few years by reading 15 minutes in the morning. Listening to affirmations in the morning is one of the best methods ever developed. I've listened to over 100 audiobooks using this method, one of which was yours "Book Launch" :)

Love my Miracle Morning practice and I adjust my routine of S.A.V.E.R.S. too. I don't mess around with meditation on my own. I love to follow a body scan where I tighten n release muscles. I get up at 4AM for mine. The thing I enjoy is that sometimes I go back to bed for a bit. I find that getting up early enough for that option takes the sting out of it. I don't always use it, but, I can. The Miracle Morning for Couples just launched btw....for anyone who wants to check it out. :)

Thanks for this! I'm a recent convert to the morning routine game, and I agree with Chandler - so much more gets accomplished before 8am this way! I found a company called Habit Nest that makes a journal specifically for creating the habit of a morning routine, and that helped me tremendously. Also - I'm a big fan of the 10% Happier app with Dan Harris. It's not inexpensive, but the breadth and depth of the teachings, meditations, and accompanying videos have provided me hours of guided meditations that I actually enjoy.

Some good thoughts here. I used to do a paper route for years. So 3am I usually pop awake. I only need 4 or 5 hours sleep, so throughts of how to start the day were good. I would include Bible reading and prayer, as well as journaling with a focus on God's view of how He sees me, which is always more positive than I am usually.

I like the guided meditation part and affirmations. I found one thing that helps me is listening to Kirtan, which is devotional music. Like prayer in music form. It rejuvenates me and helps me see things in a different perspective. It helps with meditation as well. Krishna Das is a good one as is Deva Premal. Kind of makes me feel clean.

My morning routine starts at 10:30 am. But it’s still very effective because I work better during the afternoon an evening I’m retired and my “work” is preparing to teach the adults at my church Sunday morning, or sewing a quilt or painting a picture with water colors or writing a sermon or a book about a biblical verse or story. I also go to my friends home to cut their hair or clip their toe nails because they are not able to do it themselves. I counsel those that ask vvfor my help and pray for them before I leave. My evening routine is reading the Bible and praying before going to sleep. Without discipline you can’t be effective and productive. It’s hard to work at home because you can be distracted and and loose concentration.
My affirmations are in the Bible and each morning I do a devotional and I make positive affirmations as to my place in this world as the servant of God but also the apple of His eye and His daughter, holy person, follower and worshiper of Jesus.

I'm not a morning person, never have been. (I'm pretty good from about 10 am to 10 pm 😬) It is excruciatingly hard for me to get up before 8, but I know that I would get a lot more done if I did. Thank you for this video. I didn't feel any judging or shaming, just encouragement, which is HUGE! I'm going to start setting that alarm and move it up little by little, and find some affirmations that I can say to myself every morning that don't just make me laugh 😜. Also working on the office setup from another one of your videos...thanks for that, too!

  • @petras.8543

Mornings are some of the hardest times for me because I wake up in pain every day. However, I have started to take my meds and then then stretch while listening to subliminals with affirmations and encouragement for the things I need most at that time, be it a positive mind-set, more energy, or productivity. I do recommend sticking with R.E.M. cycles which allows you to wake up more refreshed. Each R.E.M. cycle lasts approximately 90 minutes or one and a half hours, start to finish. So, even if I have trouble falling asleep at a decent time, I try to get 3 hours, 4.5, 6, 7.5, or 9 hours of sleep. I have also added self-hypnosis right before falling asleep. It seems rather helpful. Cold showers would probably kill me, though 😂.

Awesome. I have set routine with meds (meditation and affirmation and mirror work, not medication) but what I love here is to set a wake up time that is non-negotiable, that is a game-changer. I have now written out my new morning routine, and have started with the latest get up time and will work my way into getting up earlier, but Im a real night-owl at te minute, so Id rather make it realistic, as you said, that I can stick to and build a routine.
