Love it, CB !! Finishing with Vision…so awesome. Many leaders lead with that idea…I love how you saved it for last…the last they shall remember the most…Give it up and give it all. Vaya con Dios.

The best advice to find person(s) who complains too much. And forget about real root cause. Don't be the realist, be positive.

I'm finding it hard to have high energy when I feel criticised by the team or responsible for the issues. I'm new and came into the team as a manager. The team feels lots of animosity towards my boss, who they say blocks progression of things they need in order to save money. The industry we're in mixes being a for-profit entity with caring for people so it's polarising in it's own concept. I took away ways, quotes, things to say to have more high energy. I created a table with points on the left (like ask everyone for a win) then put some ideas on the right for myself to demonstrate how to them. Hopefully they respond positively. I hope to find ways going forward to get them to become leaders in their own right and push more positivity around.

Ok, so my lazy butt was waiting for the summary, and when I didn't see one at the end, I remembered how much I liked it, and restarted it with my OneNote in hand, lol. I like all the points, and though I touch a bit of all in my style, this video will help make it a constant method in my toolbox. I think my favorite is building a culture of winning in #2 and #7....another awesome one, thank you!

Exodus - Deuteronomy, and the Epistles in the New Testament explains this well!

Awesome video, definitely what I needed with my team.
    I'll mainly take those points:
    2. Build a culture of winning
    3. Affirmation and appreciation
    6. Bring the energy
And while I do them a bit and also do the others in some way, I would like to **improve** the entirety of the steps into levels you've shown.
You've inspired me, I hope I will be able to inspire my team.
    Thank you so much.

I think paint A picture of the brighter tomorrow is a great idea .
and perhaps inviting other people to paint a picture of a beter tomorrow could also be helpful because it gives them a chance to feel like they are contributing to a shared vision

I’ve taken courses on Linkedin and watched a few other videos for free on UA-cam, this was by far up there in the high quality tier.
Looking forward to catching up on the rest of your series.
Number 1 and 7 by far the top priorities for my division.

So, as a boss, you just get rid of people that may have concerns about working conditions? I'm in a group where EVERYONE is working with low morale, and our boss DOES suck. So your advice to a manager is to ignore the root causes and just fire us? Wow dude.

100% you cannot turn a team around with these tips... very outdated style. Sorry but it had to be said.
Wash your ego before it makes a stain on your life.

      What do you recommend instead?

These are not outdated at all. I would also suggest personal evaluation system that specifically addresses what is success by the most quantifiable method possible. If there is a number or data that can show this, use it.
And yes, those diminishers will kill you. Get them on board, or get them out.
