Thank you for this - I appreciate your clear instructions! Please - have you worked this in the round, is that just going around in a circle using the front st, or would it be worked flat then joined in a seam? Thanks so much! 🧶
Good question! I have not worked it in the round. I would guess the purl row (Row 2) would be worked similarly to a Right Twist when done in the round. And it's possible you would need one extra stitch. Play around with it and see what happens.
Love the way this looks but I remember doing this stitch many years ago in the round and hating it! If I made a mistake I couldn’t drop down to fix it and found that really frustrating. Your scarf is beautiful, though! Maybe you don’t make mistakes 😂. Or maybe it had something to do with it being in the round.
@@spiggyholz8824 Yes, you can do that. I would swatch different increases to see which one looks best. Probably you would need to work a double increase to keep the pattern in line
If i wanted to make it wider, say 9 inches, would i cast on an even amount or does it need to be in multiples of a certain # ? I found the pattern and downloaded it, and it calls for 30. Just not sure how many to add 🤔
You are an EXCELLENT Teacher👍👍👍
Thank you! 😃
Thank you, again, for a very clear tutorial. This looks like a fun stitch to try!
You are welcome!

I did make a few mistakes. I tinked back to fix them; did not even try to drop and ladder up.
I'd like to try this stitch for a different design but that would involve increases - would that be possible and if so how? Thanks!

@@QuailsKnittingNest Thank you so much - I'll have a fiddle around and see what I come up with

Yes, any even number of stitches. The pattern is a multiple of two.
@@QuailsKnittingNest thank you 😊
@@kristifinn3703 you are welcome!
You slip knitwise, is that right?
Yes, slip knitwise for this stitch.
