  • Here at Peach Guitars we feel that 2019 is becoming quite a year for Junior style guitars, specifically the double cut Junior has really been a success this year. For that reason we've got Jack to pick out a few stand out interpretations of the classic design we all know and love, namely we have; Gibson Les Paul Junior Tribute DC, Reverend Sensei Jr and the Rivolta Combinata I.
Jack has put together the ultimate gigging rig to show off what these guitars can do and how best they can be used, so we have used a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV, Marshall Studio Classic SC20H and for effects Line 6 Helix HX Effects System.
Each of these guitars have unique features which really shows the versatility of the DC Junior style, let us know in the comment section down below which is your favourite!
Be sure to head to our website www.peachguitars.com or in store to pick up one of these guitars and see that these guitars can really be the perfect one for you!

This is without a doubt the best representation of the Sensei Junior on youtube. For some reason no one else seems to get the overdrive sounds heard here. Nor do they demonstrate the dynamics of the soapbar style pickup as well as here. I like the Sensei Junior & darn near bought one earlier this year, but that pickup needs tome...*girth*. It's the missing link in that gtr imhwo.

I own a couple of Reverends so I thought I would prefer the Sensei, but I liked the Gibson best very closely followed by the Rivolta and the Sensei last. They all sound good though.

This was a great review! I have the Reverend Sensei, Jr. It's some Snarl/Growl to it! Highly recommended. Now you got me thinking It was the Gibson Les Paul Junior Tribute that sounded best, great definition, great clarity of the note. I am thinking of Getting a Les Paul Junior. I know they all sound good, but which one is the absolute best for tone and old school hard rock, Zeppelin, Beatles, Sabbath, AC/DC (don't like head stock on the SG, too neck heavy). 90% Percent of the time, I am always on the Bridge Pickup.

I have the Gibson. It punches way above its price point. I bought one used for $600 CND. It hadn't been played as far as I could see. It's one of those rare purchases where you think you got away with something. If you can find one buy it. If it has to be TV yellow you're a born "polisher".

@@w1nky77 Yeah, I agree. I have 2 g&l's with it, but my overall favorite is an SC-2 that only has a tone knob. I think an SC-2 with the PTB system would be a more or less perfect guitar for me. I keep thinking about some kind of concentric pot situation but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I own a Reverend Sensei Jr. and it is a great guitar. My opinion is the tone on Reverends lives and dies with the bass contour knob. Lowering the pickup a few notches and using .11s made mine sound even better. For what is worth Reverends come standard with locking tuners also.
