Definitely a real guitar….but not likely American as the truss rod adjustment plug is too wide and is black plastic… not walnut which would indicate Mexican made neck, or maybe a mighty mite replacement neck… the body is not likely vintage…. And likely not real play wear. That said…. Looks good to the general observer. And if it feels good and sounds good that’s all that matters.

Somebody correct me but I see a 70s lettering logo, that means the finish should be poly, which doesn't wear in such a way. Idk seems kinda fishy to me lol

Celestion Creamback is decent… had one in mine but the Eminence GA SC64 is 🔥 Keeps the bottom end a little tighter imo than the CB. Took my bright cap out as well.

I just picked up a 1994 fender jaguar HH special off of marketplace for a whopping $75 dollars.

I bought a California Series Fat Tele in Vintage White when they came out----but I didn't sell mine! Good guitars.

Looks like a G&L Bluesboy with a Fender neck and bridge pickup. If that’s what it is, that’s a killer guitar. I could be wrong though.

Your settings aren’t exact though. They’re off just enough to screw up your experiment. You can see the tone knob of the new one is a little less than the other, and the dist knob of the old one is a little more than the other. That’s enough to make a difference where they won’t sound the same. That’s why people usually put all the knobs straight up at 12 o’clock when they do these kinds of comparisons.

All it needs to say is made in Japan vs....and you know the Japanese model will be superior.

Keep in Mind, that these Pedals have no true Bypass, so the first in Chain will always influence the Signal to the second. And most of the Sound forming passive parts in these Pedals (Capacitors and Resistors) are not matched or selected and may have 5% (resistors) to 20% tolerance (Potentiometers and capacitors) on their actual value. Not accounting for ageing and wear of parts and environmental influence, especially high humidity. So every Pedal will be a bit different.

I got that same ST style guitar on Amazon in matt blue for $215. Also their TL and LP styles. They are all incredible. Got to have that double 5way switch. Excellent Video.👍
