Corey Taylor is the hardest working man in music today period. He writes and tours with Slipknot, as well his other band Stonesour, as well as doing intimate shows such as this one. He also does some promotional work and works as a producer for lesser known bands/musicians. Legend has it the man never sleeps lol. I've also had the privilege of meeting him when he was helping a band I used to play for get on track for a tour we were trying to out together. Down to earth, humble, kind, and all around just a good man.
I've met him during a festival in an event where he was signing autographs, such a nice looking man, he took the time to exchange a few words with everyone. I'll always remember those few seconds of talking to him and telling him "You're awesome man", to which he responded "No, YOU'RE awesome !"
lol We have one of those in Québec, his name is Gregory Charles. He never stops. He did shows where people wrote artists names and song titles, and he would pick random ones and perform them on stage. It's like he knows the music and lyrics of all songs by heart.
Innamusic, the pain he's feeling singing this song is different from the pain he felt when writing the song. This song was originally written about a Woman who Corey loved but he felt didn't love him back. The pain he feels now when singing this song is the pain of his close friend and band member dying, and how the lyrics also apply to his death.
Great reaction. I love this performance. "Bother" from the same show is also amazing. And of course I have to suggest Through Glass by Stone Sour (his other band). Greetings from Germany
Corey also sang lead vocals for a track for a band of rock an roll hall of famers called Sound City Players, song From Can To Can't!!!!!! Is a must!!!!!!
Before he was in Slipknot, he was, and still is part of a band called Stone Sour. More rock in their style. Really cool band. Going far back. They released some songs in the 90's. Some of the best written songs of Stone Sour. I can't believe - Imperfect - Miracles. Perfect song writing.
This is a whole concert, you should check out more from this performance. I suggest checking out his live version of 'Bother' which is a Stone Sour song (Coreys other band he fronts aswell as slipknot) Also check out his live version of the slipknot song 'spit it out' He also does the SpongeBob squarepants theme tune for a laugh 😂🤘
I'm glad you chose to react to Corey's live performance of Snuff. (spoiler)The fans singing with Corey might be a little distracting for some, but, they add so much more emotion to the song since Corey himself is so emotionally connected to the song that he needs their "help" to get through it.

Your looking at the Lead Singer of Slipknot without the mask same person same amazing voice and Vocals just in it raw and vulnerable state for this performance and song.
This was performed after the loss of a fellow Slipknot band member to addiction. I do suggest the actual music video, its profound, but it gives you a different perspective of what the song is really about. I think Corey is a brilliant lyricist. My all time favorite Corey/Slipknot/Stone Sour song is Zzyzx Rd. That song just gets me
Super annoyed with the "react to his side project / side band Stone Sour" comments. Ummmm.... Stone Sour came first, Slipknot IS the side project. 🤦♂️ Stone Sour is also much better than Slipknot. Just sayin'.
Definitely look up his side band Stone Sour. I really think you'll like Song #3, preferably both the music video and the acoustic version in the studio.

Hate to crap anyone's jam as music is sacred & may yours Bless you, but Corey doing this solo crap ruined Slipknot forever for me! Might as well have Slayer break out a banjo & put on cowboy boots & hat & pop off some Garth Brooks in middle of set! He could've done anything anonymously & got his little solo guitar player kicks every stop on every tour if wanted & would've gotten an HONEST reaction with no one being the wiser he was masked serial killer Thrasher! This song is all about the lyrics. Just excellent.
Not just lyrics bro
The way he delivers each and every word full of emotions is what really got me ❤❤
Nope, it's all about the emotions. The lyrics are just the medium used to convey the emotions.
Corey is one of the most amazing people in music. And this song hits every time.

The guy in the crowd at 5:40 into the video nails that ooh oh. It's a tough song for Corey to get through and that dude has his back!

you have to react to "bother" from that same show, it's just perfect, by the way it's a song from another band that corey sings "stone sour".

great review Inna. you should review stone sour- song 3 (acoustic) :)

great video
This is a Slipknot song off All Hope Is Gone album.
I saw him play Spongebob Squarepants theme song in this stage, that's request from his audience and that's hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
Next original song "Snuff official video by Slipknot"
If you wanna know about Corey, I'd recommend reacting to his interview on the therapist

Falling from me- korn is a good one or freak on a leash

Another Corey Taylor side project was the band Stone Sour. Their songs "Through Glass' or 'Bother' would be a good place to start
Stone Sour was not a side project, Stone Sour came first, Slipknot IS the side project. Please get it right.
His performance in the Eras Tour was ok I guess. His hair was much different though
Great reaction and Slava Ukraini.
When they put their arms behind their back randomly, you already know. Just sayin…
It's about a divorce he went through and one of his close friends couldn't go on living anymore I believe.
plz watch vermillion pt2 by slipknot
