    The video begins with two laps but the test actually begins with three laps, other than that it’s the same test. An applicant has 3minutes and 36 seconds to complete.

    Besides the written exam, the Physical abilities test is the only physical test you will take during the hiring process.

    Right now I'm doing weights and conditioning and we run two miles every day

      It’s just seeing if you can perform the minimal fitness standards in a timely manner for the academy. There will definitely be more physical fitness once you’re in the academy.

    Was this the entire test? I'm interested in joining the KCPD BUT I'm a big guy at 6'1" and 265 lbs. I can bench press 240 lbs and have a high I.Q. BUT I'm not all that fast of a runner due to my 14" feet. If this is the whole test how long would I have to complete it?
