Chris Cus14 The proof is in the pudding. Why ask for higher wages if you’re already getting paid equally? They want to earn more for less work!! Why fight for abortion? Why fight slut shamming? They want to be whores with no societal judgement. Why are they forcing men to act like pussies to be able to date them? Because they want to be provided for but also want the respect. They want to know what it’s like to be the man of the house without actually being the man of the house or doing anything that a man of the house does. Why do they fight for rape trials with no evidence? Why do they suggest all women should be taken on their word? They want to get men they don’t like in trouble!! Etc, etc. I can go on and on. I’m not going to disagree with you, I think feminism also stems from the hatred of men and ignorance, but think twice before you disagree with what I’ve said. A subject can be about multiple things. Could it be that feminism is about Providing women with more privilege, AND man hating & ignorance? If not? How so?
Magdalena Tomczynski When women were abused, who do you think had it worse? Men or women? The women who got slapped but were provided for and just stayed in the house baking cookies and raising kids? Or the men that got ate by bears, went to war, built cities, faced the more difficult forms of slavery? Point made. That’s a false statement, there isn’t a gender war...the large majority of women adore men. Simply for the fact that we pay for their entire life. They adore us now, and the majority of women also adored us when we were abusing them. Women are paid more than men actually, on average. Men are wealthier on average, but that doesn’t translate to women getting paid less. They work less. Your validations for abortion are not valid and based on only your opinion. So you’re saying evidence isn’t important? You’re saying men should get decades in prison with no evidence? And I agree with you there. Women behave like children because of the way they’re raised. To never hear the word “no” or “you can’t” But it also carries on in our society, how many men are there that will give a woman his left arm that he just met? And I know, men are scary. We are the most violent and the most destructive. But why don’t you wonder why that is? since the beginning of humanity, men were the ones who had to fight to protect their country, their family, or themselves. Women never had to adapt primal instincts of survival. Because they were always protected, by who? Those men that you hate so much...so forgive us for getting angry and aggressive so easily. It’s in our DNA to help us survive.
I think the reason the word "feminist" or "feminism" gets such a negative knee-jerk reaction is simply this. REASONABLE feminism is so standard that it needs no label. If you say you're against female genital mutilation and you want equal pay for equal work and no sexual harassment in the workplace (real harassment, not exaggerated stuff) and you think women should have the right to vote, then you are basically just one of the herd. There's no need to say, "I'm a feminist." because you share your beliefs with 95% of the population, men included. So when someone actually goes to the trouble of calling themselves a feminist, that usually means either they want something most women don't or that they are unusually passionate about the stuff that most women want. Either way, there's a fairly significant chance that they're not the kind of person most men want to associate with and men who have been burned are wary.
Yes and no. It's not about being one of the herd. And feminism in modern day Western society is only about being "above" men, not being equal with them. Women earned equality a long time ago. But for whatever reason, they are still fighting. Women being harassed at work is nothing to do with inequality, it's to do with an individual acting like an asshole, and not many women want to admit, being an asshole is NOT gender exclusive. Being attacked in a park at night is also not a gender thing, I live in one of the dodgiest places in my State, and I sure as shit wouldn't go around at night without a friend or some kind of weapon. To add to that, if I was a woman and I knew that drunkards who were looking for sex were out and about, I sure as fuck wouldn't wear revealing clothing while out, alone, at night. It's common sense. Not oppression.
@@heliasprael3203 if you're for equality then saying you're a feminist is counterproductive. The scale starts there and goes all the way to male genocide. So when I hear you're a feminist I don't assume you're on either fringe, so neither for equality or male genocide but likely somewhere in the middle which lands you square in female supremacy country. Not a person I'd associate with if I could help it at all.

One of the original thinkers in feminist philosophy, Simone De Beauvoir's take on feminism is that women and men are both DIFFERENTLY oppressed and should not strive to be equally so, but rather should strive to break away from that. You just proved Joe Rogan right about that word. One idiot hears it and thinks, "Oh, one of those," and the whole cycle continues. That's you, pal.

You just proved Joe Rogan right about that word. One idiot hears it and thinks, "Oh, one of those," and the whole cycle continues. That's you, pal.* I never suggested that men and women faced the same oppression in society, and I never suggested that the goal should be to oppress men and women equally. All I was doing was pointing out the hypocrisy of modern feminists - who claim that men and women are equal and deserve "equal rights" while at the same time advocating for discrimination against men to make things "equal" (to benefit women). And I'm not sure why you are propping up Simone de Beauvoir as one of the "good" feminists either. In a 1975 interview, Simone is quoted as saying "No woman should be authorized to stay at home and raise her children. Society should be totally different. Women should not have that choice, precisely because if there is such a choice, too many women will make that one". Simone was not opposed to the idea of oppression - even oppression against women - so long as it advanced the cause of "gender equality". And not much has changed today, with modern feminists still using the goal of "gender equality" as a justification to trample over other people's individual rights. Any person who puts "gender equality" before individual rights/freedoms is an authoritarian and not a good person in my book. And the "good" feminists we have today - the ones who "don't hate men" and like to put their own spin on what feminism is to them - are not helping anyone but themselves. All they are doing is acting in their own best interests (virtue signalling how "good" they are) and shielding a hate-filled movement (predicated on hurting men via discrimination) from criticism.
Not a fan of her stand up but I do like her movie roles she’s played. But she seems cooler in person then I thought she would be. I’d like to see her on more often
Ajax D Gonzo The last time she was on the podcast she talked about it. Yea well Joe’s stand up has never made me laugh out loud and i’ve seen him live dozens of times but that’s all subjective what isn’t subjective in my mind is that a “cool person” wouldn’t flame a guy for politely asking if they have a lighter.
I think it was pretty funny that they said "that's normal in LA" yes, because of plastic surgery. And they even talked about this where if a woman has big boobs, people ask "are they real?" Maybe the problem is LA 😂
"I've found, when someone doesn't like me, it typically doesn't have anything to do with me." That is one of the wisest things I've heard in a long time, and a lesson that a lot of people need to learn, whether they're being attacked, or doing the attacking.
One of the dumbest things I've ever heard. That sentence was pure ego. It means she thinks she is so perfect that it's impossible for anyone to not like her and the only way they can do it is because of something else. This woman, if I met her. I'd walk away from or tell to f off real quick.
"I know a handful of men/women or I've made a string of poor choices in relationships therefore I'm qualified to judge an entire gender": People that generalize. I think it's easier on their ego to generalize a whole gender than to take a few moments of self-reflection and think "Hmm, maybe I shouldn't have gotten into those relationships" or "maybe I shouldn't exclusively hang around d-bags"
@Ron Garvin The legal etc. systems favoring women and saying "all women/men think X" are two very different things. I don't think either gender should be given preferential treatment in courts, but I'm not going to hate all women because of it. People have different personalities/life experiences etc.

The proof is in the pudding.

Could it be that feminism is about
Providing women with more privilege, AND man hating & ignorance? If not? How so?
Magdalena Tomczynski
When women were abused, who do you think had it worse?
To never hear the word “no” or “you can’t”
But it also carries on in our society, how many men are there that will give a woman his left arm that he just met?

Feminism does not hold a monopoly on gender equality. Just because you want equal rights between sexes doesn't mean you're a feminist
A black man has a better chance of finding a reasonable Klansman than someone finding a reasonable Feminist.

I never suggested that men and women faced the same oppression in society, and I never suggested that the goal should be to oppress men and women equally.

One of the dumbest things I've ever heard. That sentence was pure ego. It means she thinks she is so perfect that it's impossible for anyone to not like her and the only way they can do it is because of something else. This woman, if I met her. I'd walk away from or tell to f off real quick.
Well, it is often true - People project themselves, or past issues.
PS - She didn't make up that saying. I've heard it before.
@Ron Garvin Seemed implied by the combination of the MGTOW logo in your profile pic and talking about courts favoring women.
I think it’s just your body heating the room
Joe: hmm
Joe is so hot that he actually emits inhuman amounts of heat. No homo though.
hevquip smh
Spencer Confidential...crushed it.
“I think it’s just your body heating the room”
*dude blinking meme*
I read it at the same time i heard it in the video
I read this then proceeded to act out the meme for confirmation.
"I married a dude, I made out with some hot dudes. "
In that order?
If her husband I a male feminist then yes
She married a dude, she made out with dudes and dresses like s dude...those dudes need a talking to....for making out with woman dressed as a 12 year all boy...
