If I read it correctly she was born in April 1950.. so yes.. it's strange to think really, especially as the videos and music will show her as forever young! Which in a way I guess she'll always will be..
The song "Now we go up! up! up!" was sung originally on a 78-rpm record by the Swedish and later world-touring singer Alice Babs. The song also was the theme of a Swedish movie, Eagle chicks. A funny point is that the text of the song contains a great deal of enthusiasm for flying, and the extremely afraid-of-flying Agnetha here has been given the task to make believe that she is a flying enthusiast.
Yes deathly afraid of it because anything that happens on a plane is beyond her unlike in a car where she has a shot of swirving to safety or something in the event of an accident. I thought the same thing when I saw this lol
Two beauties! First of all Agnetha off course, and then the fighter from SAAB it is an early version of the famous J 35 Draken (in English J 35 Dragon)
That was funny, but I feel the same. Agnetha has an incredible voice. My dream is to see a clip of her singing Christmas songs in Swedish; she has a striking melancohlic, overwhelming voice.
since 1:25 she says "the sky is blu ble blue 4ever and always 2gether with you you you, up up up on the sweet wing of love you and I reach the top top top top la laaaaaa" I just love this song, she has a strong voice for being so young!
I'd like to say that I am a bia fan of Agnetha ,she have ever done good songs to my mind start flying.... She had a wonderful voice that make emotions.. Congratulation
This video was made by the Swedish Television for an entertainment show with a bouquet of Swedish popular evergreen songs, and Agnetha participated among a few other then famous Swedish stars. Unfortunately, this song was never recorded on disc by Agnetha.
I believe the "Arrival" album photo sessions were taken somewhere outside of this Swedish Air Force base. On the rear side of the LP cover, you can almost see the air control tower in the background.
In every song and in all poetry / They all fall in love in springtime / One small exception I wanted to make / If you could just understand me / Could’nt we, even if it's in autumn follow our inner voice:
I love this song and this video! It reminds me of being in Europe & watching European commercials! This also makes me hungry for European confections like Norwegian chocolate bars, pannekakkors, European cuisines, & European fairy tale like charm!

The clip and music are wonderful. Agnetha is wonderful, beautiful and very talentous!!! Great Agnetha, great voice, up up up...!!!
J35 Dragon is not as beauty as Agneta but totally unique fore it's time
and as Agneta the pride of what Sweden could showing the rest of the world
Considering that she is getting into a jet and singing, "Opp, opp, opp". I would think that she is singing about flying. "Up, up, up".
She's 60 in April.. time flies!! :)
And Draken still flies in the US...
she's 71 now :,)
@@emilybird7749 Time sure does fly, doesn't it.
I assume that opp, opp, opp means up, up, up in English. LOL
Isn't she afraid of flying? hahaha...
she's so beautiful in this video!

Agnetha has the voice of an angel.
This is my favorite solo song by her.
George Vreeland Hill
I've been to this place, I believe it's the old F 12 base at Kalmar Airport.
You can perceive and feel natural talent. She is synonymuos of joy. Thank you for this memorable video clip.

Agnetha ROCKS!! WE LOVE YOU AGNETHA!
DALLAS TX USA!!!!
she's young and beautiful :D
She's got a fear of flying . I wonder if it made her nervous to sit in that jet cockpit. Beautiful woman and a lovely voice though.
*She was only 19 here so still a teenager (last few months of it)!*
Grattis på födelsedagen Agnetha!
this is adorable thanks for uploading
Yes over 40 years old now, but as always with Agnetha, what a voice she has. Saab Draken first flew 1967 and was retired 2005!!
The perfect angelic voice.
swedish air force propaganda? SWEET!

Ha ha ha.. well, that happens from time to time!! Never mind.. :)

@BasicModelling In my original comment i meant that the movie is over 40 years old, a great misunderstanding here : /
WELL.
Agnetha & Frida. Dolly Parton. Doris Day. Fergie. Lady Gaga. Barbra. Cher. Liza M. Julie A.
Marvelous.
I am in love with Agnetha Fältskog and I am young. She is a very pretty lady with so much sex appeal.

Never before an AJ-35 Draken looks so nice.

Karl Gerhard gjorde denna sången!
Ca fait toujours plaisir d"entendre Agnetha chanter dans sa propre langue.
@mt451 Never heard of that model. I've heard about J35 Draken though ;)
LMAO! I too and making the very same assumption.
She´s going to fly best SAAB ever made: J39 Draken !
