Your very welcome!! I really like the Grom platforms! They can take big power with the right upgrades and keep coming back asking for more. I can't wait for the Mojave Grom to arrive and I've been told it comes with the upgraded diffs!👍 We'll have to find out when it arrives.

Nope u need those axles. I snapped mine quickly after pushing 3s brushless. I did front and backs and did metal diffs. U will have a blast with it.

Yeah I found out about there channel after I made this channel. I'm thinking of changing it to Byron Nye tv or amateur RC. Or another name because your right I've searched my channel and his is all that comes up but if you put Byron Nye in mine will come up. The typhon grom comes with a 18t pinion and I just bought a 20t pinion with my stock motor and try that for a few more mph 😮😎👍
Ohhh definitely! You will probably gain about 1mph for each extra tooth. Should definitely liven it up for you! Make it snappier!
@@ReactionRC I seen a guy on another UA-cam channel and he got 10mph on 2 teeth I tooth on your pinion is like 6 teeth on your spur gear bike riders know that when they get ready to race and you should know that also
It's just that most people aren't satisfied with 5 or 10mph they always want more to tell you the truth I'm happy with the speed stock gears the losi mini t and b needs some help I have one of those also

@@ReactionRC it looks like vaseline and don't come off the gears even at high speed lots of it stays on the gears for a longer period 😐
I have an inexpensive esc/motor combo i want to put in my typhon grom. I ran into the issue you spoke on, with the pinion gear not fitting the motor. I need the next size up, do you have any recommendations on where to order one from? Any help is appreciated.
I get most of my pinions from eBay or pinion sets from Amazon, amain hobbies, horizon hobby or my local shop. Do you know the shaft size of your motor? Most important things are shaft size and mod. If your putting it with the factory spur gear you will want a .05 mod pinon and then whatever the shaft size is of your motor. Like if your shaft size is 3.175mm then order a .05 mod, 3.175mm shaft, 18 tooth pinion. Search that on Amazon or eBay and something should pop right up if it doesn't let me know and I will look up my orders for the shop names. Thank you for watching! 😊 Usually the next size up motor shaft from 2mm and 2.3mm is 3.175mm. You can always measure the motor shaft also to make sure.

Hmmm thank you for bringing this to my attention. Maybe I can make a post about a different combo instead that's just as good! They do have the hobbywing 2435-16bl30 combo but that's 65$.

No it has a 2mm shaft. But Losi makes a 2mm 18 tooth.05 mod pinion that will fit on it. Other than that it's a direct fit. Any 2435 motor with a 2.3 mm shaft should bolt right in. I made a post with the motor/esc combo I would buy since this one is sold out. I'm going to put the link in this video as soon as I can.

Yeah I really don't like those kyx shocks! Thats why I got the hot racing ones and they are much better. I wouldn't buy those kyx shocks go with hot racing. The springs in the kyx shocks are just way too stiff, but that's why I make these videos so now you know lol. Thank you so much for watching our video! @@ReactionRC you don’t need to explain anything to me, I just appreciate the content! Actually, this video prompted me to order the esc and motor you recommended. I hope it’ll be torquey enough for the new Arrma Mojave Grom I just ordered, and not just a top end speed motor. The 6100kv figure gives me pause, but for 40 bucks, who really gives a shIt?!
It still had good torque at lower speeds. You might have to put a 17 or 16 tooth pinion on instead of the stock 18 tooth but like you said it's only 40$. Dude I can't wait for the Mojave Grom to get here! I've never had a Mojave yet, any size and I'm really excited for it!
@@ReactionRC I’m a weirdo - I have both the 4s and 6s versions, and I love them! SCT’s are my jam. The 6s is maybe the most fun RC vehicle I’ve ever owned. When tuned correctly, it’s a hoot. Yes, it dives and wallows back like a big ole 1970’s sedan, but it hooks up and just flies, and it eats undulations in the ground like a desert racer should. Get one, you won’t be disappointed. ;)
