So glad to see this comment:)
This is the exact color I’ve been chasing 😍
Thank for letting me know you did this. I think you look BEAUTIFUL as a red head!
Thank you so much!! It’s my absolute favorite color to have in my hair❤️
I Love the fact that you said this is a hairdressers worst nightmare because that Is the Absolute Truth!
You are inspiring me to dye my damaged hair!
Like a strong strawberry blonde. Yes, could see the shine in the sun. X
Wow!♥️
Thank you!❤️
I just want you to know that lush henna IS pure henna, it is mixed with indigo and coffee for the other tones. The types of "hennas" that you need to worry about are ones that contain PPD and metalic salts.
Thank you for your comment! As a hairstylist we mostly work with chemicals and not with natural dyes so we don’t have much experience when mixing the two. I’ve had bad experiences when trying to bleach lush henna off someone’s hair which is why I say to stick with only the pure henna powder because I know it lifts a lot easier than when it’s mixed with a bunch of other ingredients.
Exactly what I was thinking. There are some bad ones with ppd in them but lush is great and 100% natural. I don’t even think she knows what indigo is.
I actually tried indigo right after I did henna to make brown! I mixed it into my henna and the color came out so pretty. But when I recently tried to bleach it out of my hair I tried 3 times and it would not come out🥲 it was an ashy green and I had to dye it dark. If you change your color a lot (like I do) stick to pure henna❤️
You can use Indigo over to make it darker.
Could you make a video about dying over henna? I don't know where you are in your hair journey at the moment but that would be super helpful. I haven't seen many hairstylists making videos about that, it's mostly people just experimenting at home. I did henna just once a few months ago and need to get it out somehow as I want to go platinum blonde in a few months.. Thanks!
What brand of henna did you use? It depends if you’re going to be able to get it out or not.. I went darker. I’ll be posting and updated video on Monday all about that!
@@lifeofadaisy6115 I used Centifolia for blonde and light brown hair. My natural colour is light brown.
Excited about the update! :)
@@Lehmabeebi I’ve just posted an update video! Hope you enjoy🥰
Where did you get your henna? I’m also light blonde and want to do this.
I got it off of amazon!! Just make sure it’s that brand!
You can get many shades with mixtures of henna indigo cassio
Yes! I mixed henna and indigo powder to get a brown shade!
How did the second treatment go, I have platinum hair that is desperately in need of love and no more chemicals and would love to know how this worked out in the long run for you?
Thank you! I’m sorry I took so long to respond I forgot I uploaded this😭 I did a second layer of henna after a month.. and then ended up doing brown on top. Quarantine got to me lol then I added extensions 😂
I’ve just posted an update video on my channel! Thanks so much for watching hope you like it🥰
@@lifeofadaisy6115 Hi! Did you put brown henna over the red, or box dye? I was platinum, now I'm ginger and I wanna go back to my natural color which is brown and idk if I can achieve a natural brown with brown henna ?
Hi babe! So natural henna is only red/orange. Depending on the color you have will be the outcome. I did end up mixing henna with indigo powder and that gave me a mousy brown color. If you wanted a darker brown just use indigo powder or leave it on overnight to get black! Don’t buy anything that says brown henna or black henna! They add chemicals and if you ever want to do anything to your hair(bleach, highlights, etc) it will fry off or turn green! Since I only used natural powders I added Redken brown hair dye on top and it was perfectly fine! Hope this helps❤️
@@lifeofadaisy6115 oh! Thanks and so if I use pure henna as a filler and then go with brown box dye it would be alright?
Did you just store it at room temperature? I think it looks really pretty!
I did! I just left it on my counter overnight
Did you try adding another layer hena? Update please!
I’m so sorry I honestly forgot I even made this video 😂 let alone check the comments but yes I did do another layer because it faded after a few weeks. My hair was very porous because it was platinum blonde so it makes sense.
I’ve just posted an update video! Hope you enjoy🥰
Have read that L’Oréal do botanea a natural salon hair dye
I have seen it although I haven’t tried it yet! I might experiment with it and see how it does with bleach🤔
What brand of henna do you recommend?
You should try The Henna Guys :) Let us know if you have any questions
Omg your hair is so damaged! I thought mine was bad lol
Oh yeah girl it was BAD. I bleached it maybe 3-4 times to get it this light
You should give henna a try too!
update pls!!!
I’ll be making an update video this Sunday and have it up on Monday!🥰❤️
wheeeere?
