Ok GS350 is not gonna vanquish a M or AMG.... My little F Sport may shake a Taurus SHO or something like that but that’s about it. I’m on my fourth one and am completely sold on this platform.
@Rob K. The interior of the Lexus might be nicer but please don't compare a BMW or Mercedes to a Toyota, the only reason Lexus still exist in 2020 is for its reliability, but putting an M5 with a Lexus excluding the LFA is an insult and ignorant
I used to own BMW's and be a huge BMW fan, after all the issues and lack of support from BMW I will never buy another one. We now drive lexus and I will never look back, sure the germans will beat it in pure performance but that's it. I find lexus much more comfortable, feels better quality everywhere, and actually more fun to drive on actual roads(maybe not on a race track). Honesty I roll my eyes everytime I hear a BMW fanboy talk about lexus because I was one once.
Rob K. What??the new m5 interior is nice. And the tech is light years beyond Lexus. I can’t believe the infotainment on the gsf, straight from the previous decade. That being said Gsf is a decent car with sweet na v8, and reliability . Very nice interior also except for the steering wheel-come on Lexus, your gsf and rcf cannot have The same damn steering wheel as an is250. That’s just wrong. It’s also much slower than even an m550i (523hp, 3.8 0-60) Ps I had, have, lexuses and bmws and are fans of both brands.
Rob K. Huh? Why bring lc500 Into this? I love that car . That one is a lot nicer than the Gsf . I’d take the lc500 over the m850i for sure. This is strictly about Gsf and it’s outdated tech and not that fast. Stay on point if you want to debate geesh. Owned LS400, is350, isf, rx 450h; bmw335i,f80 M3, f80M 3 with zcp, m550i. Which part of I’m a fan of both brands don’t u get? Just keeping it real. Lexus is very reliable and interior is decent (unless you go up to lc500 then interior is GREAT), and tech is old. Engines old- that’s why they are reliable. Both great brands for complete different reasons. If I had to drive across the country I’m taking the Lexus. No questions. If I’m going for a fun drive (including mundane errands in town) I’m taking bmw and I do every time.
Rob K. Bro what are you on? Look around the seat controls, dash and the door panels, definitely not even 5 series level... better than 3 but not 5 at all. Don’t compare Lexus to a BMW!
Looks and stances amazing Sounds better than any current M car Can't even compared the reliability lol But it's slower than M5 and M3s and it's not in the same tech levels of BMWs
I have both lexus and bmw and when I go to the bmw dealership for service, I am floored by how alluring bmw cars are. Mybank account likes Lexus . But my heart is with bmw. The G S f could have used a better looking body
Maybe if the car was priced around mid 60’s its a good option but not at 90K MSRP brand new the GS is sadly losing out against the G80/Stinger. It’s a good car to get preowned
Yes it's comparable. It's slower. It lasts 30 years longer. And it's better in quality. 👌🏽 Any time lexus over any modern German pile of junk that falls apart after 4 or 5 years
It looks like a bigger is. Thats the problem. The GS deserves its own look and characteristics like the 2nd and 3rd gen. There is a huge Community 2nd gen and 3rd gen owners till this day. Why? Cause it was its own car. Nothing looked like it. If they did that it would of never been discontinued. When people buy a car like this? They want it to be one of a kind. Specially when the GS always did. I own an 08 with only 54k miles on it. People till this day think its a brand new lexus. Sad that they went away from the GS being its own.

A faster time 0-60 or 1/4 does not make a car a good car! Most of u are not fast n furious street racers. Has to do with refinement, quality, comfortability, performance, style n design, excitment, fun, low maintenance costs, and most importantly RELIABILITY. Lexus checks all of these. Not so much for euro cars.
I know right it’s like they are ripping people off big time . I mean look at the interior they give you some super outdated shit. You look back at the older models and it still looks the same they just upgrade the looks on the exterior and slap on a ridiculous price tag and fuck you over. Atleast with the Mercedes Benz they switch up there interiors completely every other 2 years or so. But look at Lexus like you said they got stuck in 2012. Better off buying a Camry TRD for what Lexus cost !!!
honestly people always say BMW is unreliable but they dont know they are talking about. A true BMW M car such as M3 or M4 is more reliable than any performance Lexus car because M cars arent factory line assembled. Just like AMG cars, the engines are hand built and 90% of the parts on a true M or AMG car are different than for example a M340i or AMG43. There is a reason why an M3 is still double the cost of an M340i
@@eptdy Nah. I own a BMW motorcycle and I see their foibles first hand. They do stupid things like have solutions to things that are unnecessary, like a fuel strip instead of a float in the gas tank and now they have. 12 year warranty extension on them because they are crap or final drives that are poorly designed with sealed crown bearing or something common across cars and bikes: bad plastic. It shows up in throttle body pulleys that crack and break, usually when you''re on the road and then dead in the water. I've heard that the same kind of plastic issues happen with water coolant lines and intake manifolds on their cars. Then there are the water pump issues on their K bikes and water cooled boxers. The first 2-3 years were a nightmare. Every member of a local BMW club that bought a K1600 replaced at least one water pump and one guy replaced it 4 times. He even carries a spare on trips. Water pumps have been figured out for a long time. So has final drives, plastic and sensors for gas tank levels. They know how to design a balanced package that performs well, they just don't know how or want to produce a reliable product. My guess it's a dollar chasing a dime and they squeeze their vendors that do quality fade to ensure profit. Quality control and assurance should catch that, but it doesn't. The Japanese are just better at reliability in general.
@@nokoolaid bad plastic and bad rubber are bmws Forte. Ive owned 8 and on the older ones I had plastic water pump impeller issues on some. Rubber and plastic from german cars wears down much faster than that of a japanese car. But german engineering is usually better. Japanese more reliable

Beautiful car 😍 . Unfortunately Lexus in it's infinite wisdom,👎and because customers are not lining up to buy this car, has decided that this will be the last year they will produce the GS-F or the GS. Seems all people are interested in are SUVs. The ones smart enough or wealthy enough to buy these wonderful cars will be very happy, 🙂happier if they maintain and keep these examples as they will only increase in value. Provided they don't trash them
Lexus will probably put down the LS500 like an old dog too in a couple of years. I don't see that many of them here in Los Angeles. Or the ES model. Only SUVs. If you have the means, hurry up and buy one now, before it's too late.
both have different ways of attracting people ....lexus with its reliability and less exhausting but limited performance .....whereas bmw is a lot more zippy ...it pushes its engines to the extremes .....the logic is simple for bmw ....why would you not keep up with the newer tech features and the new looks....for lexus a new model is an option for you if you have the money otherwise the old one will keep going ....both are doing good in terms of business........a lexus GSF is probably the beast in lexus's standards ...not by bmw
Cannot compare to BMW; the GSF is way better!!LOL.. If your goal is to go fast in a very expensive and completely unreliable sport the go with BMW. If you want a great car that will go fast and last many years, then buy Lexus.

I want one!
just got mine last month 2018 model, only I can think of right now is to finished my Payments
Ok GS350 is not gonna vanquish a M or AMG....
My little F Sport may shake a Taurus SHO or something like that but that’s about it. I’m on my fourth one and am completely sold on this platform.
No comparison to the M5 or E63. Maybe the E53 and M550 and they trounce it in everything but reliability.
It’s also much slower than even an m550i (523hp, 3.8 0-60)
Ps I had, have, lexuses and bmws and are fans of both brands.
Rob K. Huh? Why bring lc500
Into this?
That is an spotless luxury car yeah!
How is it in bad weather snow and rain
How is the transmission compared to the ZL1 1LE in paddle shifting mode?
Looks and stances amazing
Sounds better than any current M car
Can't even compared the reliability lol
But it's slower than M5 and M3s and it's not in the same tech levels of BMWs
There is no comparison
BMW won't last
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss GS F❤🏆😎🤪☠
Is Lexus going to refresh the GS? I don't want to buy one and then have them change the body.
fromdaatx I’m not sure on that
Toyota reliability has no competition, not even BMW.
Ahh, you're in SLC. That explains the beautiful mountains. I hope all is well from the earthquake not too long ago!
Jeff S it is thank you!👍🏻👍🏻
@@BenHardyCars I thought Lexus was doing away with the GS line cuz they ain't selling ??
I have both lexus and bmw and when I go to the bmw dealership for service, I am floored by how alluring bmw cars are. Mybank account likes Lexus . But my heart is with bmw. The G S f could have used a better looking body
Maybe if the car was priced around mid 60’s its a good option but not at 90K MSRP brand new the GS is sadly losing out against the G80/Stinger. It’s a good car to get preowned
Try going over 60mph whn explaining the performance
It’s in the class with the 550i why do you tubers try to put it against the BMW M
F Stands For "Fuji" not fsport
Southpark Colorado?
Whatever you say, I love my GSF
I want to buy a GS 350, being that it’s being DC’d should I still buy, if so what year, I am caught between the 15, 16, 17
I have a white ’18 GS 35 F Sport and I love it. Don’t procrastinate, it’s a highly sought after car now due to it’s discontinuation
Way better than a BMW
So, where exactly in the video did you compare GSF with BMW M ???
10 year old interior...
NICE CAR BROO💪🏻❤️
What a beauty!
The handling is just a bit low compared to BMW , but as far as reliability- Lexus
Sad that they went away from the GS being its own.
it is unfortunate they discontinued the GS....
Needs those updated side mirrors....still old style for 2020😣
Lexus should upgrade interior layout and infotainment system with more horsepower, then I will buy it.
Only thing is the CD player why a CD player??!?!?
excellent review .. and that car is one of the best !!.. if i have the means i will be buying one. the hell with the ( SUV's 👎🏽 )
I hate suvs. Never owned one and never will for now lol.
I love driving them cars
i own gen3 lexu gs350 and gs350 F... love the 2020 GS-F interior black and white but i prefer break calib orange it's more stand out.. lastly i had watch many other channels comparing GS-F vs M-power... lexus is no near nor close to M3.. comparing to M5 in an insult to bmw.. i am a lexus fan but i also know my stuff that lexus can't compete with M-power..
Cadillac CTV S
Nice but I’m keeping my Lexus RCF
Does not compare to an M car. Maybe the M340i. But not the M550i.
On the top end it would deff give a m550i a hard time after 100mph..quarter mile the 550 would deff probly win but on the highway these 5.0 v8 really move
carlover 247 Doubt it could hang with a 2020 M550i. Truly doubt it.
@@mji9208 I mean I just checked the stats and those m550i have 523hp so yes it deff would beat the lexus plus with the torque of the twin turbos. But the Lexus would deff beat a 340i on the top end .as for the new m550i eh idk probly not maybe your right .I'm thinking of the older m550i I guess
@@troytruong8246 if your talking performance the 340i can easily make rcf power with little to no effort.
Lexus needs to step in 2020 . they are living in 2012 or 2013 ... Infotainment sucks absolutely and that price is horrendous
Lexus is not doing too good, last time i checked, they might be getting rid of the IS and GS lineup which is a huge deal in the car world
I know right it’s like they are ripping people off big time .
There is a reason why an M3 is still double the cost of an M340i
Hand built M3 engines that are prone to rod-bearing failure. Throttle actuators, Vanos solenoids, did you want me to keep going?
@@gavinr9107 ))))
The Lexus will be cheaper to own in the long run and more reliable.
Yeah because it's a regular car
@@eptdy It's because BMW screws up on some things. They could make their cars more reliable, but they choose not to.
@@nokoolaid they push the limit.
Sounds good...
Who cares if it's not as fast or sporty as a German. 90% of the buyers would not go near a track nor afford the upkeep to take it to the track. Not like you can push cars on regular public roads.
Provided they don't trash them
Goodbye GS LEXUS IS CANCELING YOU 😢😢😢
Lexus > Bmw,Benz,Audi
An excellent sporty sedan with comfort. Cannot compete with M cars in performance.
Lexus will probably put down the LS500 like an old dog too in a couple of years. I don't see that many of them here in Los Angeles. Or the ES model. Only SUVs. If you have the means, hurry up and buy one now, before it's too late.
Reliable and made by Toyota.
both have different ways of attracting people ....lexus with its reliability and less exhausting but limited performance .....whereas bmw is a lot more zippy ...it pushes its engines to the extremes .....the logic is simple for bmw ....why would you not keep up with the newer tech features and the new looks....for lexus a new model is an option for you if you have the money otherwise the old one will keep going ....both are doing good in terms of business........a lexus GSF is probably the beast in lexus's standards ...not by bmw
This shit is so much better than a bimmer
Cannot compare to BMW; the GSF is way better!!LOL.. If your goal is to go fast in a very expensive and completely unreliable sport the go with BMW. If you want a great car that will go fast and last many years, then buy Lexus.
Yes sir!
I love my 2016 gsf
I have ppe headers and ppe dual mode exhaust and apexi intake silicone intake tube. Car handles like a dream but it definitely needs more power. Other than lack of power i love the car plenty of room and comfortable.
Rr racing supercharger coming soon 😎
To me it needs more torque.... 470 hp is plenty powerful
@@emekaiheanacho6971 how do you get it to have more torque?
Ни слова не понял но автомобиль очень хороший👍
Lexus will be discontinuing this model very soon.
Planning on getting one!!!
Just watch the video nice car but I know Lexus can do better they wait to long to do a update are refresh to stay competitive I believe if they gave this car attention it wouldn’t be discontinued
Wish it was louder. Could you do a avalon TRD or camry TRD? And you look even smarter with your glasses 😊
Caleb Hardy check my Toyota playlist and at least I look the part😉
It does not compare, its better. A LOT better. Its not an endless moneypit low quality trash
Lexus will never compare to BMW
cosmin cosma I know right. Just look at the key fob lol 2:43 , even a 12 year old bmws key fob looks more modern
@@armandol1826 comparison is a joke 🙂
Steering wheel feels dated, panel clusters, infotainment on Lexus is old when it exits the factory
Periodically looking at buying one, for the reliable reputation they have, but cannot see myself in one, yet 🙂
@@alltheway99 what? I was comparing the e90 key fob to the one at the timestamp. Obviously a 12 year old car cannot compete with a new leader of its class. My comment was only regarding the key fob.

Yup, let’s see my 2009 M5 engine was trashed after a ton of headaches with back and forth to the dealer and $11,300 worth of repair . 2013 M5 engine starts to leak oil everywhere water pump blew out .leaky intake . Misfire . fixed everything around $9659 , then motor went out . Blown head gasket. Piles of junk . You can keep yours and enjoy your key fob .
