You are looking at the very best built sedan ever Lexus made. I’ve had the 2015 F sport , 2018 F sport and now the finale 2020 Blackline F sport in white. The last is lifetime keeper . For Lexus to state the Es 250 (couch on wheels ) was a valiant replacement for an AWD sedan is an insult. Apples to oranges. Just slam a door on any ES and watch the sheet metal flutter. Try that on a GS . Long live the GS
Love these cars! Bought my white on red 2016 GS350 F-Sport four years ago & still puts a big smile on my face every time I drive it. It now has 77k miles on it & still feels very solid. Don't like the black interior though, too plain. Gotta go with the rioja red or flaxen (tan) interior.
I have the 2019 blue exterior with the red interior...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥..I got rid of a hellcat challenger(my 4th challenger..lol) for the lexus...no need for the 700hp in NY..I also wanted to look apart from the new generation of kids that are ruining the mopar heritage..lexus=refinement, luxury , some sport, beautiful esthetics, great resale value, and reliability
Word on the curb this is the GS’s last hoorah. On one hand I’m surprised. It was at one time such a strong stand alone vehicle and awesome 5 series/ E class competitor. On the other hand with so many brands streamlining their sedan line up and with Lexus already having the ES also occupying the middle child spot in the line up, I kinda get it. With that said, now the question becomes is the ES ready to go rear wheel drive in a few years and fill the GS’ shoes?
The two inlets on the front bumper are vents that cool the front breaks . If you turn the steering wheel to either left or right locking positions you can see the vent holes that cool the brakes
Its interesting that Toyota has a model called Toyota Mark X that is sold only in Japan, and it shares almost all the parts with the GS and both cars productions are being discontinued in 2020.
I bought a used 2018 and I really love driving it. Its a smooth ride yet powerful when you need it. Most of us on the everyday ride aren't drag racing. PS there are cup holders in the back. You need to press the front of the arm rest and they pop out.
Nice! I bought a used 2016 (white exterior, red interior) about six months ago & has been fantastic so far! Has a very nice ride & handling balance. Love the V6. Ultra smooth & sounds amazing. Much better than the turbo 4 that my previous 2017 IS200t F-Sport had.
@@robvidalbjj Nice! I'm considering buying one after a great 11 year ownership experience with a 2004 Lexus LS430. Such solid cars. I can't imagine what else you will be able to find to replace your GS ? New body style IS350 ?
@@robvidalbjj I still love mine as well after three years of ownership & not planning on replacing it anytime soon! These cars are so good that I would easily buy another one. It was the 5th vehicle I've purchased as it will officially become the car I've owned the longest if I still have it by December 2025.
I’ve had the IS350 F Sport and it’s too small to get in and out of and the additional features on the GS make it a better value than the IS hands down.
I've seen some people fix it by putting a big white European license plate on the grille to break it up and give some kind of color contrast. I think it looks really good that way. But you're right, the grille is too big. The 2013-15 front design was much better.
I really loved the Lexus design back in 2010 but after that i slowly started losing interest in them and nothing really flows with the car anymore or stands out as premium like the BMW or Mercedes?
Its crazy how lexus is slightly behind in tech nowadays..i remember in the 90s and 00s they were ahead of the German brands..lexus is the reason the German brands stepped their game up in the early 00s...back in 1995 i turned down the 1994 500 SEL Mercedes benz(big body) for my 1994 SC400 lexus..lexus was just cooler back then..the M.Benz 500SEL aka S500 was considered an old man's car back then...😅😅😅😅..later on rappers and celebs brought the S class just for status ans bragging rights..the infiniti Q45, SC400 lexus and Acura legend coupe/4 door were the cars to have back then..
@@kokipopi2985 small increase in horsepower mine is about 305 I believe and the 2020 has 311. The newer ones are definitely facelifted and updated interiors but seem much smaller on the inside. It comes down to personal preference really

I told my buddy I was gonna get this car and he said he didn’t like it because it looked like a Camry, I almost slapped him for that reply
its looks nowhere near like a camry tf he on
@@bilalghafoor1943 lol
Bros mad bc he can’t afford a lexus 😭. If you like it that’s all that matters who cares what anyone else says 💯
But it does look like a Camry - especially from the side. And that's how I like it. Low key and unsuspecting. . . 😁
@@Driving_Somewhereit don’t
Even in 2024, the GS still looks better than the ES.

Lexus should have ended the ES and kept the GS

I hate when people who don’t own a everyday Lexus review them cause they always miss so much!!! But it’s still a great video 👍🏼

Six speed trans is ONLY on the AWD model, otherwise, its an eight speed.
They need to do a redesign because the GS 350 haven't had a redesign since 2016 if they do redesign it might won't be discontinue
Yes it will. It’s gone
Hey ben congrats for the 50k subs! Nice review btw
Super Nova thank you!
There are a cup holders in the back maybe you didn’t notice that
Yes. You have to push the front of the arm rest and they pop out.
The GS is unfortunately no more. RIP. 🙏
too bad, i love the size, its not too big but bigger than the IS
@@ViperGTS737 absolutely. Love mine to bits! 🥰
Why?? I’m interested in getting one. The IS line up is too much money for how slow it is.
T- Mills The is350 is faster than the gs350 tho ... so what are you saying
That was expected. Its a Toyota Mark X under the hood whose production was to be discontinued in 2020.
Dude, the GS is being discontinued after 2020. Oops!
One of the best cars ever made
If u know u know
Take a breath bro 😎

Ctfu he doesn’t know where the back seat cup holders are!
😂
so who's gonna tell him
😂
The fact that in 2021 the GS will....
The redesign: forget this car. Axe it from the lineup.
Lexus: YES more crossovers

A legend💀
Hi Ben! I love your videos!!
Can you review a GMC Sierra SLT 1500? I don't think I've seen that one on your channel yet...

The remote start feature only works if you have an active "Lexus Enform Remote" subscription.
Lexus is getting rid of a good car. They didn't make it sporty and competitive enough. Smh.
The GS is DEAD. Unfortunately toyota decided to give the new GS platform to the Mirai nameplatefor their
brand instead of Lexus.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
Not everything is “little” bro
Average review. You talk way too fast , slow down, take a breath. Sounds like your amp up on caffeine
The only thing better than the es 350 about this is the rwd otherwise the es 350 is much nicer inside and out
I thought the 2019 was the last year.
Pop pop car now
I like or used to like Lexus but they look outdated compared to its competition. Tesla is the same price and looks new and high tech.
Waiting for a infiniti q60 review!!
Too little, too late for a car like this from Lexus.
Meh, I still prefer my 2011 awd GS 350 over these. Better designed and more room
