Is it chips for melting or baking? Because chips as in the ones used in chocolate chip cookie or added as a add on in banana bread or cakes have the property to not melt while baking that is their purpose so there are possiblities that it won't melt properly so make sure the variety is meant to be for melting.

Not too hot or else it will curdle the curd.. if you see in the video once the chocolate and butter is melted I take it out and then measure the dry ingredients which gives the mixture time to cool a bit.. so that time interval should be fine.. to be on the safe side you can always touch it to feel..
Hi Sushma, i am making the brownies but as I put in the butter into my melted coverture chocolate, the chocolate seized. Now it's a thick lump which I have just mixed in the yoghurt mixture and blended with a hand blender. Still the batter is very thick so added 2 tbsp of oil. Going to bake it now. Will update on the result. Pls tell me why the chocolate seized when I added the butter!!! Thanks in advance
How did you melt the two together?? By double boiler?? If yes then the temperature of the water in the pot should not be boiling.. just simmering.. consider watching our video on how to melt chocolate the right way for more details.. if microwave then at 20 sec burts.. chocolate is sensitive to heat so you need to be careful
Yes just hang the curd for about an hour and then use the hung curd. So weigh a little extra and do this process so that after the whey drips out you would still have the amount needed for the recipe.. do not throw out the whey it is very nutritious it can be used to knead atta or even in dal or curries

If you are keen about baking then please start doing metric measurements and not volume based. Yes cups and tbsp are easy but they are not accurate and there are chances of failing.. so to avoid that I do metric measurements but wherever possible I also share volume measurements too.. After trying for 5 years I developed this recipe and for everyone to get it right I have shared it in weight.

Hi Padmini.. you have to understand that brownies are not allowed to bake completely like a cake.. so when you take anything underbaked out there are chances for it to sink.. I have mentioned a little trick on what to do if that happens in the blog post please go through it the link is in the description box.. also yes when you change the pan size the baking time will vary so that needs to be considered too.

Because of the consistency and the fat content.. you need full fat yogurt as if you see the butter quantity is less in the recipe.. homemade yogurt will also have variations in the density each time you make which affects the thickness of the batter and ultimately final results.. so for better and CONSISTENT results it is recommended to use store bought yogurt.. never used vegan butter in any of my recipes so can't guide on that.. sorry

Because brownies are not baked fully they tend to sink.. to level it off when the brownies are still warm press down the sides too with the help of a tea towel

For 8*8 pan you multiply the mentioned ingredients * 1.7

Well that is not true.. greek yogurt is simply strained yogurt it does not have milk solids

Since it has butter and chocolate it will get a bit hard in he fridge just let it sit at room temperature for around 30 mins before serving
