Together, they shared a passion for music and began singing in local talent shows, drawing inspiration from the doo-wop and R&B groups of the 1950s. This early exposure and practice laid the foundation for what would become one of the most successful R&B groups in history.

As a person previously commented, the name is Lavert not Levert. You put some proper pronunciation of respect on that name great man great group the O’Jays part of the sounds of Philadelphia iconic groups. They don’t make groups like that no more because the days music is CRAP.
