Looking at this makes me happy as well as sad. Life is something else. Both of his boys did the tribute to the group and now both of them are gone in less than a years time. You just never know what is going to happen to you in this life but it is apparent that Eddie knows GOD because he is the only one who could have helped in through this period in his life. I grew up listening to the ojays. My dad loved them.. Since he passed these videos makes me smile. The one thing he did without knowing.. He instilled music in me. and I passed that on to my kids. Miss you Dad.

There was no internet then, but newspaper headlines after his accident were “Who will be the next Teddy Pendergrass” ......he was still alive! and went on to make more gold records and later do sold-out live performances yet, Johnny Gill was acting like he took it literally and vying for the job. Arsenio’s surprise and Johnny’s effort....epic fail on so many levels.
