About the relics fastest way is to buy m off pilots every pilot has at least 1 of 2 relics you could need saving and reloading doest work that well in 350 hours ive pulled nothing else but rusted scrap from those green boxes

KhrazeGaming I have another one for you. You can increase your swim speed. What you do is jetpack up into the air above the water as high as possible, and drop straight down. I always point the camera down into the water as I'm diving. When you enter the water, gradually adjust your direction into that which you want to travel and you'll continue to swim forward at or near the speed you were falling. Also if you jetpack up above the water again and maintain your forward movement, you'll jetpack at that same speed. If you bump into anything or make a sharp turn, it will return you to normal slow speed. Also don't try this in shallow water, you'll take fall damage.
@@marcel82821 there is, kinda, it requires joining someone else's game who is closer to the centre than you. You will get warped to the system they are in, in your current active ship. You can then act as normal, summon your freighter and warp/use teleporters.

To skin your ship into any other ship (ps4) 1.) Have a friend in multiplayer who has enough money to buy the ship you want to skin into, and they must have less than 6 ships and a freighter 2.) While in a space station with your friend, have them buy the ship you want to turn your ship into. 3.) After they buy it, they get in the ship they originally had and fly out of the space station (do not interact with the ship yoire skinning yet) 4.) Your friend summons their frieghter which creates a duplicate on their freighter. At this point the ship youre skinning into (in the space station where you are still standing) will say "your starship". 5.) Enter the ship your friend bought and it will have all the stats and slots of your old ship. Your friend exits without saving, and you save the game. That's it. Have fun!!
you can buy gek charms, daggers etc, from NPC's (ships) on trading posts or on your freighter, there they only sell 5 type of items and those are always one of them, usually the 2nd down.
for the item needed to locate the portal, the item it needs is often given by completing the monolith. so complete monoliths till you get the item and then locate portal on the next monolith. the summoning exocraft tip isn't true. if you are too far away it won't summon it. you don't need the terrain editor to be largest size, about half size is good enough to traverse through. having it set to largest consumes large amounts of energy.
On PS4 if you double push X while pushing forward to jetpack boost it will boost you forward instead of up and on planets will do it in small like jumps depending on the terrain and is a very fast way to get around
7:00 Another really efficient way to travel is if you use the boost for that exocraft off of a cliff or hill, when it is in the air if you push forward it will go tremendously faster.
I'm new to No Man's Sky, but I discovered that if you melee while mining the charge bar resets. I don't know if people already know this but this way you can mine without lifting your mouse.

Added bonus: once you get a damage upgrade to the grenade, it's awesome at taking out sentinels in one shot as well as quickly breaking open locked doors to manufacturing centers.
oh ya! Ive been using my grenades to do all sorts of cool stuff since the beginning. On one planet I made a very long channel to connect to different large lakes/ponds. i was trying to get some fishes to migrate to the other pond, and eventually they did. The first time i had to use the grenades i got lost inside a cave and had to tunnel my way out. But i came up under a mountain and then everything got screwy. i was trapped inside a bunch of polygons and had to restart the game but then my ship and i was both stuck inside a mountain that i couldnt blast thru. eventually i was able to get out but i was sweating it for a minute. lol
Its not that hard compared to gmod for example. It took me around 5h to understand how the game works and now i started a new playthrough. Have you ever tried GMOD buiding something decent? Thats hard.. I have around 100h in gmod and still can't even build a driving car LOL.
I wouldn't say you can use that mining trick with ship lasers. The mining trick causes the heat on your multi tool to reset while on the ship it retains its heat and slowly decreases it when not firing.
I tried the glyph trick with entering the first glyph only - and i end up on a desert world where a lot of others have visted, left markers, but get the portal interference message and cant see where I am in the galaxy or go anywhere else except back through the portal...
When you play this game starting out, does it always spawn you in a planet with toxicity? Or can you spawn in a planet without any toxicity? Like an earthbound planet with moderate temperature and no crazy radiation or -200 degrees?
You don't have to be running to activate the jump boost. You just have to me moving then melee hit when you see the elbow hit come out you hit the jump button and boom the jump boost is activated.
@KhrazeGaming i thought i let you know before terrain editor i use grenade to get out of caves that works too it was the originall way of getting out of caves cause terrain takes alot of isotope
And now I know I feel safer about going to the center,but what about if I do the atlas reset,will I keep my achievements or will I lose everything,is the reset instant when I reach the galactic or do I have to do something
Has anyone ever clipped through the floor of a world into an endless ocean? I've done this a few times, and besides resetting the game, the only way back up is to use the terrain manipulator to break the ground, then use your thruster to get back up

Galactic wanted no man's sky is more accessible game. Elite is far superior and doesn't hold your hand. Elite is an extremely deep and rewarding experience
I usualy sell those relics to "farm" money. I tried certain multiplication glitches but was unsucessfull so far. PS: When is the portal function for baseportals ready to be used? I started my game and have three bases so far and can't get to any with the spacestation portal. I am at my second galaxy towards the center.
Third Person, and the ability to attack "human-like" figures were in the ESRB... maybe that's just players or maybe pirates won't just be in space anymore.
So how does going through a portal help? You can get closer but you can't call your ship to you to travel towards the center. Your basically stuck on the planet you portal to.
Problem is I didn't want to give up my current base. I'm however needing it less and less now that I have a freighter. So I may have to try this soon. Was hoping to claim a base on one of the exotic planets for my next base maybe that will be possible with the next update. I have never found a base on an exotic planet before and I don't believe there are portals on those types of planets either.
you cant call a ship after a portal jump with any method other than the one mentioned above. Trading posts wont even spawn when you are on a portaled to planet. This is one thing that should be changed with an update. Making it easier to use the portals makes the game much more multiplayer compatible,
I portaled to a planet the other day and saw a crashed freighter there was a bypass chip station and tried it for the hell of it. I was fairly sure it wouldn't work and it didn't which wasn't really surprising. I would really like to be able to call my ship anywhere it just seems wrong to have the portal system and not being able to use your ship. I guess it was to prevent people from beating the game to quickly or something.

They are in the Euclid Galaxy. If you want planets like these even more, then go to Eissentam Galaxy (green galaxy). You can chose to go to it when finishing the Artemis quest line.
Hey dude good video! I started playing recently. Should I just portal to the galactic centre? What are the advantages/ issues with portalling to the centre as a new player?
Flatulence The Unending. Yeah never did mine. lol some of this looks almost like a different game. Reason i asked was this one refills automatically after use. I don't have to use a mineral to refill. As much as i use it. I don't know if i want to update to be honest.
I tried the portal trick but once I was on the new planet it would not let me out of the system saying 'portal interference'. Would not even let me pull up the galaxy map.
I really really hope the devs plan on adding alot more content... The game is great Edit :... I'm loving the game after okaying it for about a week... I don't see them stopping the content flow soon at all ... Games got a really bright future ahead of it... Along with the space exploration genre as a whole ... So so glad they are passionate about the game :)

This needs to be updated, it's not possible to fast travel to the galaxy centre anymore.

grenades can also blow up terrain and get you out of the cave, or make a cave to protect you from toxic environments.

Also the grenade launcher can easily be recharged with common carbon, in contrast to the terrain manipulator, which requires much more minerals.

you can also buy the gek relics korvax casing etc from the pilots that land at the spaceports.

For the boost jump I just double tap the jump button. Then hold on second tap.

I find that the terrain editor is literally a. Life saver. Getting too hot, just borrow under.

It's a lot easier getting relics to activate portals by simply doing a monolith puzzle correctly (it's better than relying on rng)

The Terrain Manipulator trick also works with the plasma grenades.

You can use the terrain detonator (don't know the right name in english) to bomb you out of a cave since the release of NMS.

In the days before the terrain manipulator, I used the grenade to gig out of caves.
Galaxy center one is "patched" now since when you teleport to a system using glyphs you can't use galaxy map because of "portal interferance"
And I can't seem to find a way to place a base there it normally won't let you

Not really if you delete the terrain manipulator after you used it, you can re install it wayyyyy cheaper than refilling it. Hope this helps

As a matter of fact it wasn't added until the atlas rises update
Remember to delete your bases before going to a new galaxy, this will out all items in the cache !

Yea its a bug... Solutions are either loading an older save or use a NMS Save Editor if youre on PC
