How are the switches compared to the Superlight? I bought the Superlight about two weeks ago for full price, but found the switches to be mediocre, nice but not amazing. Only Razer mouse I've ever used was the Orochi V2, and I really enjoyed the switches for all buttons. Currently using the Superlight, just because of the shape and weight distribution. I am interested in the new Glorious mice coming out though. I'm assuming they'll be similar to the V2 Pro, in terms of weight and shape.
they're pretty tactile, not the best sounding because they're opticals. they sound very "plasticy" and borderline hollow if that makes any sense. superlight clicks are some of my favourite, they don't sound the best but they're so good for spam clicking.
If they're anything like regular RVU/DA Pro - atrocious. And expect them to get even worse. My black RVU that have seen no more than 3-4 months of use in total or even less, main clicks are on the edge to fall apart. My Mercury unit feels the same after 3-4 weeks of use - wobble, sticky feel, no tactility, hollow and somehow keep getting worse. I literally have old ass Logitech M100, 5$ mouse and clicks feel slightly better. Orochi, despite having too much pre travel is fairly decent yet Kailh GM4.0 are just too heavy for 1 part shell but still feel far better than RVU/Viper mini and DA Pro in my experience on my units. Side buttons are very "meh" and M3 is too light with no tactility, "very meh". Superlight clicks are pretty good, but my unit has quite a bit of pre-travel so it kind of makes them feel mediocre but still above average, i've always loved Logitech tensioning system. They make even one of the worst switches feel good. I hope they soon move on from the crappy omron to TTC Gold or Kailh. Until then i simp for Xlite and MZ1 as these two have fantastic clicks - minimum pre-post travel and very snappy click, medium feel - not too light, not too heavy.
Comes down to RNG. Issue is that mice have RMA procedures for a reason. If you get a defective mouse exchange it out. Instead people complain that a mouse is crap instead of getting a working one. Superlight clicks can feel great. Viper V2 Pro clicks can feel great too. I'd say I have a flawless copy of both the GPX and the Viper V2 Pro and give a very slight edge to the V2 Pro giving a more crisp click. But they are VERY close. They both sound the same tone wise except the V2 Pro click is super loud (2x louder than Superlight) where the Superlight is moderately loud. I'd rank the V2 Pro has having the crispest click, then the Orochi V2, then the Superlight. New Glorious Model O Pro looks interesting. But personally I haven't had a good track record when it comes to their QC/QA as every mouse I've gotten from them has been defective (Model O, Model O Wireless, Model O-, Model D-, Model O- Wireless). I'll also be getting the Pro. But the specs of the Model O aren't even comparable to the V2 Pro which is currently in a league of its own. Even when compared to the GPX.
I agree with u, this mouse feels like it’s a year late, there are way cheaper mice that offer the same and The fact that the g pro superlight (most would say the King of mice) is way cheaper now and offers a more complete package kinda makes the price of the rvu v2 disappointing

Interesting. My MZ1 cable seems to be perfectly fine and have seen quite a bit of miliage to the point that the coating is wearing off/has shiny spots. @@yetanothermousereview Why did you start maining the XM1r instead of the Viper Mini?
@@olsaaan I mained the viper mini for a while but eventually came back to the xm1r because I was really consistent with it and the rvm LOD bothered me.
I recently pimped out my viper mini (lethal cable, tape mod in the shell, tiger ice, btl grips), and with the LOD fixed I might switch back for a stint lol
Interesting. My MZ1 cable seems to be perfectly fine and have seen quite a bit of miliage to the point that the coating is wearing off/has shiny spots. Not the most flexible cable, i guess but haven't caused me any issues so far and mz1 is the only wired mouse i've used in the past year. But, yes, xm1 still offers superior quality as my MZ1 right side flexes very badly. A single downside but very bad one. Tho, i wont lie, i'd love bigger feet, even if not "g303/gpx" big at least something like XM1/Orochi. Xtrfys tiny feet are such a disappointment, when you flip the mouse there is so much room yet they offer you the tiniest possible feet.
enigma. I honestly think the xm1r/2w feels very similar to the mz1 but it has no holes and zowie level build quality
I just bought the viper ultimate v1 for $69 at bestbuy new. Couldnt pass it up
is it worth taking viper mini if you like mice with a clear wheel?
wdym by clear wheel? smooth? if so I'd say the mini's wheel is reasonably smooth yet with clear steps
it’s just that somewhere they say that the mini doesn’t have clear steps, somewhere they say clear
@@cartiergod5459 it's not the "clearest" mouse wheel I've used, eg. a vaxee wheel but it's not bad at all. definitely more defined than the xlite or g703 scroll wheel for example
does the wheel look like a wheel like the g102? worse or better?
@@cartiergod5459 I don't have a g102 but I assure you the scroll wheel is fine lol
I have this mouse and I completely agree with you. I think Razer will have to lower the price in 3-4 month.
You nailed it, wp. At least for the US market.
@@3ildcard why the us only dont we all deserve lower prices or is your patriotism tells you otherwise
logitech did the same thing and people love the gpx
it's been 2 years since 2020 and there is now more than 1 good 60g wireless mouse
just wish it wasnt 150
When people are selling their used but great condition XM1Rs for $40-50 this mouse should be so much better than it is, $150 + tax is egregious
I got an xm1 v2 in great condition for 20 bucks...
Should I buy it
None of the mouse you compared offers 4000hz like razer
also aq2 review?
aq+ white but yes I will probably get the review out this week
I mean I think it should have been 130 max
what do you think about the upcoming xm2w?
gonna be a banger but I didn't preorder because my xm1r is already pimped out
an actually review not an ad like 99% channels out there, subbed
Facts. You can see when a review is genuine when you see malding Razer fanboys in the comment section trying to justify Razers dogsh&t build quality and lack of any coating just because "logitech did the same"... 2 years ago. At least there is one main issue - double-clicking. And, it's not guaranteed. What, 10% affected? Superior Customer Support compared to Razer so not an issue whatsoever. With Razer, you get mice that may fall apart within the first 4 months , slippery soap with a week lasting battery.
I've charged my GPX 3-4 times in the span of 6-7 months with on/off use. With even less use i have to charge RVU and DA once a week while they claim 80h, more than og GPW which still last me a good 2-3 weeks.
most delusional mouse reviewer lmao
dont buy PULSAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your review is mid.
i own it and he's not wrong, mouse is pretty mid (at least my copy)
is it even a review? just some weird shit like he says g pro shape fits everyone while I hate it, it makes my wrist hurt
@@Tacet137 Just an opinion not a review. My v2 pro will arrive in 3 days. I got the last unit of the white one on sale for 121$.
