where does the toast go?
At the time this video was released we were doing weekly videos. This being the case, I simply ran out of time and couldn't add in the toast falling back down. But if you want a more lore answer, there's a portal on the ceiling that teleports the toast back into the toaster whilst simultaneously converting it back into bread so that it can be re-toasted as a new frame.

I burst out laughing when I saw the toast flying into thin air with doom toasted on each frame of toast... maybe we will be so technolgically influenced and stupid enough to have this be done as televisions do with processing frames like playing final fantasy xxiv at 200 toasts per second

Doom can be run on anything, as long as it has a screen, or can make something with an image on it.
That was dry, quirky, and amusing.
Those are definitely three concepts on my list of concepts that I enjoy.

Technically, you could get doom running at 0.01 frames per second by burning the toast in a specific way
Someone should make that
Assuming that doom runs on 10 fps, this toaster would have to be able to fully toast any part of the bread within 1/10th of a second. The scene seems to be pretty bright, so the fully toasted parts on the toast will have to be near-black. The maillard reaction, what causes toast to brown, takes a shorter amount of time with large amounts of heat. I was unable (too lazy) to find any quantitative formulas, but I'm sure it takes a lot of energy to heat it up enough to do this. This means that canonically, he has constructed a dyson sphere around the sun to harvest energy, completely blocking out the sun and destroying all life on earth.
I have no idea if what you said is true, but it sounds good, so we'll go with that.
