Thanks for the video. The lacking eco mode is a bummer. Their other similar units have the eco switch. Can't help but think that is going to hurt fuel efficiency.
*I would like to plug my EraYak into my transfer switch for home use as advertised. *Yet, EraYak advertises their untis as being "Transfer Switch Ready" when they are NOT? *I know for a fact that their 4500PDM unit is a bonded neutral & as such is NOT SUITABLE for use with a transfer switch to a USA home breaker panel. *Can you video the unbonding of your 4500 unit under the panel? *Oh, they'll work wonderfully on a job site or camping but... *What about home use through a circuit breaker panel? *They should advertise these as "Some disassembly required.", no?
*I just got the 4500PDM model & it HAS the "EcoMode" switch i wanted. *That being said, I'd wanted to use it as a back up for night time use. *Where the Mrs. & I have little to no use for the big Genny. *The problem with plugging it into the home transfer switch is that the unit is "Bonded to the Neutral/Ground Connector". *Meaning: You can't plug it in & use it "Without Unbonding The Neutral/Ground". *I've repeatedly asked for someone to video their solution but have yet to get any takers. *It's a great unit. *Except for that one major detail.

Where did you get your lights and heater from? Thanks for all the information.
I got them from Amazon
Always informative. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
What’s your personal take. Price seems good. I wonder how durable it would be. Never heard of it before.
It’s new on the market. I will be taking a closer look and testing it overtime.
Who makes the engine in this model?
I'm wondering the same.
Seems poorly designed, no eco mode is not smart.
Agreed, perhaps it wouldn't be as bad if it would automatically try to idle down on its own, but this is running full on all the time, I'll pass on it
