Never buy this one. This one is fool's gold. It has hideously high THD, which will mess with your electronics, and it doesn't have an oil filter screen to protect the engine. Spend just a few extra bucks and get a good one like the Westinghouse Wgen11500TFc.
@@GH-wt7ww I will be able to tell you soon. I’m going to complete the break in procedure this weekend and then hook up to my inlet box. I will attempt to start my 3.5 ton Trane (without a soft start). I will be post a review soon! Thanks for watching!
Hello, In Texas also, I bought the IGEN10500 version of this one about a year ago and I was able to run my 4 ton AC (without softstart), lights and TV in my house without issue and this was running on propane. If I had to purchase again I would purchase the IGEN11500 simple because the it has less that 5% total harmonic distortion, cleaner power. Why the biggest version has cleaner power I have no idea, but that what the web site spec say. May consider the IGEN11500. I know its a little more expensive and don't for get Lowes and Home Depot offer 10% off to Vets' if you are one as I am.
@@kevinr5187 in hindsight, I wish I would have waiting for the availability of the 10500 or 11500. I know it would have given a much better “buffer”, especially when running large 240v appliances. Thanks for watching and thank you for the input!

I had one of these on order and canceled it because I realized going inverter would be better for whole house. Genmax 10500 tri fuel.
@@retiredAF1994 I will check them out. How much did it cost?
Very unreliable brand.
Definitely should go with an inverter generator. They sip fuel in comparison and out clean power. Good luck.
What would be a good brand, thanks.
@@kerplunk38880 I may consider one for a future upgrade but for now, the price was right on this one. Thanks for watching!

@@riddles4237 Just some more fun facts. Westinghouse is a bottom tier inverter generator. Fuel consumption of all Westinghouse generators is subpar.
