Roki to LA will make me happy. Roki to SD will make Sliwa happy, so it will hurt a little less.

That’s why front runners will never be considered great🙄 The Great players create their own legacy and don’t jump on the back of others🥱

@ No the the Dodgers aren’t🙄 Baseball⚾️ doesn’t work like that🥱 Even if Roki ends up choosing LA👎 pitchers get injured as the Dodgers know, hitters slump at the bad times🤔 Young players get better older players fall off👍 Rich players get bored, poor players get hungry😏 Even if the Padres fade away😔 The Yankees got better all over their roster and don’t forget about the D-Backs and what happened the last time the Dodgers were in the playoffs vs them🤙

The Dodgers are the only team that will have a 6-man rotation. That is what they do in Japan. The Dodgers also open up in Japan and will play against Chicago Cubs. Gave Roki start the first game, and Yohshonubu start the 2nd game

The Dodgers will have a 2.5 man rotation by the All-Star game the way they injure their pitching staff🙄

Sorry sli but sd is in the same boat as Toronto maybe even worse. Lawsuits like Sheels don’t just go away and the ripple effects from a lawsuit like this don’t fade quickly. Sd might’ve been an option earlier but not anymore. At this point his mind made up, I mean dodgers made the final list before they even had their meeting lol i know its been fun to talk about but the original reports starting from 2023 were true about him wanting to join the dodgers.

its this simple: if he wants to be in the shadows and never reach his complete peak, go to La. if he wants to have the potential greatest legacy, go to a team that you will be an ace for and in the limelight. be your own man and go submit your own legacy.

A legacy on a team that has never won a championship? Shohei went that route with the Angels. I hope he signs with the Padres but we’re so screwed up right now. We will just waste him. We have made zero moves this offseason and we have no money with these contracts. Not to mention the lawsuit mess.

@ we won’t “waste” him. We are great at developing pitchers and keeping them healthy. The Dodgers can’t say they are good at that. If he wants to preserve his arm he should not go to LA. But it’s up to him

@ We don’t have to lie about the Dodgers. They have been developing pitchers for decades. We just started when Niebla came 2 years ago and our program is new. Ask any big leaguer or professional in the league and they will confirm Dodgers are a historic and storied franchise for pitching. Having a world renowned surgeon doing TJ operations is actually a plus for Roki. Pitchers that are flamethrowers at his velocity will inevitably have arm injuries. He wants the organization that can get him back on the mound. They are experts. And Ohtani just had a new type of surgery that uses a brace. This is cutting edge and will be the next big thing. Roki will be interested in this.

Why wouldn't he reach his peak playing with the best. He would also have more pressure with the padres as the padres need roki not roki needing the padres. Dodgers don't need roki or even to perform at his best padres fans are delusional

He just turned 23...his legacy hasn't even begun.
