My stepfather used to buy barn finds when I was a kid and I used to love pressure wash them, there's something satisfying about it and as an adult I let my kids do it. I'm looking at Copart to get us another boat, probably a center console or a river jet boat.
If you hit it with something oil based on those seats first and let it soak in without direct sun like leather conditioner you can reduce the brittle and tearing. Not saying it’s going to bring them back but just add some moisture into the material so you can work on it with less damage
How long was the turnaround time? From the time you bought it, to the time it was sold and driven off the lot? Nice work by the way! I sell and flip a lot of smaller items, largest I've done is cars. Looking to go bigger. I live in Florida and I figured no better state to flip boats than here.. Lol.
Another thing I'll add is don't BS someone who's driving a good distance to see what your selling. I drove all the way to Tampa to look at a tacoma and the guy said factory paint no bodywork. The panels were 90% bondo and the guy wanted 14k for it. Said he was willing to work on the price. I told him thanks for wasting my time and a 4 hour round trip.
Yeah, true I have seen stuff like that as well. Pictures taken in a way to hide stuff, get there and its all messed up. But I have had it the other way too, where its almost too good to be true and works out, so guess you gotta take good with the bad.

Yeah fun to find good deals, although they are hard to come by now. good luck on your search!
