Only God knows how much I love and appreciate your channel. No one talks about all things formula, texture, finish, effect on the eyes like you. I've overlooked Givenchy for the longest time, until I swatched those 9-pans last year at Sephora. I really liked what I saw then. But I have enough for now. The only formula I do exclusions for nowadays is a baked one. Nevertheless, congrats on a beautiful purchase! This palette gives office chic vibes imo. I agree with you that Givenchy formula is thinner and more sophisticated than the one from PMG!
You’re right. Nothing beats a baked gelée formula. But it’s impossible to find a neutral palette with cooler tones in that formula, unless you compose one yourself…. Coming soon! 😘
It’s true. I’ve mentioned her channel before in other comment sections. Replying to people interested in more flattering formulas especially for mature women. I hope she gets to 1000 subs soon so she can monetize, if that’s what she wants of course.
Hmmm I see some of these palettes on douglas...now that I am intrigued by the formula I will keep an eye out for a good colour story and try it when it is on sale.
I think you’ll like it. Since you rock also warmer tones you have far more choices than me. Definitely wait for a sale! The packaging feel cheap to me, it doesn’t deserve a full price for sure
I agree with you on brush quality with the included brushes. It does not have to be Chikuhodo but at least usable or leave it out and save the extra money with the cost of the product. I’m going after that vinyl finish. It is hard to find
I am glad You like your purchase. Some colors make me remember Eclat du Nuit and Holiday . I am going to think about this palette and to consider it. I like the color in the middle pink gray taupe. Thanks for sharing 😘
I have never tried a Givenchy palette. This one has been on my radar for exactly the reason you stated-having a variety of neutral tones in this type of baked formula is rare-especially the two midtones in the bottom row! I had been looking for those shades in this type of formula, too, and they are hard to find! After seeing your swatches I’m going to go order it right now!! I’m so, so excited!!! I love the finish on the mattes. They are so flattering!! THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! ❤ (I totally agree with you about the brushes. If they are going to put them in a luxury palette, they should focus on making them better. Personally, I’d prefer they omit them and make the packaging smaller and sleeker)
Okay, you influenced me 😂 I feel the same about the mid-tone shades. That center shade might surprise me for use in the crease, as I can have a warmer shade there. Some of my favorite mid-tones are the two browns in the Road Movie palette. My ideal neutral scheme includes a light shade as well as a sooty charcoal for the lower lash line and outer corner. I am really looking forward to the reformulation of the Tisse Essentiel.
😇 This Givenchy palette is the closest to my ideal neutral palette! This is such a personal thing, but I’m glad I could find something premade with desaturated mid-tones. However the best neutral palette is something you build slowly with time. I’ll film something about it. I remember Road Movie but I managed to stay strong back then. Thanks for sharing! 😘
I love my Givenchy eyeshadows. My favourite next to Tom Ford and Cle de Peau. Different formulas but I find them all easy to use, beautiful shades and flattering on the eye.
This is my first Givenchy palette as previous colour stories didnt interest me but this one caught my eye. Haven't used it yet as I dont wear makeup every day. Will see how the colours & formula translate on my eyes.

Let me try it a bit and I will update you 😘
@@bobmindset that sounds like a good plan!!!
Thank you for this video. What a beautiful nuanced palette.
Thanks for watching! 🤗

The packaging could have been sleeker and slimmer

@@bobmindset Sure! I’m glad you found one that makes you happy! 😊 I would so love to pull the trigger on this one 😫

Givenchy eyeshadows are definitely underrated
I would love to see all your favourite shades in the “vinyl” finish. I’m all about that finish too, I’m tired of too much shimmer.

🖤
6 month shelf life?!?!
As usual with Dior, ABH and other ones
They last much longer. I've owned few for over 2 years and they're perfect still
