I've known baked gelee eyeshadow formulas and know PML fans were very upset when they were not in recent motherships yet i have to say, when finally trying them, i found the pressed foiled shades in moonlit seduction much more exciting than those. I'm not all over those quads but i love the packaging so i'll get one..

Ah good to know about the re-promotes. I wondered if and how many there were but didn’t have time to search. Thank you! My feeling is that the only baked we will get from Pat, would be in the form of those kits with an eye gloss or something. Limited edition and cleary aimed at the audience who likes the avant-garde side of her brand.

Packaging looks like it's aimed at teenagers although the price isn't! I'm completely over PMG. None of it is inspiring anymore. Its just re-promotes these days. I haven't bought anything from the brand for over 3 years. I wonder whether Pat Mcgrath has actually sold the brand on the quiet as the quality of the collections is so poor.

Wow so many of the shades look so similar to your eyeshadow collection! The Bobbi brown heart packaging is so cute! I have different things on my wishlist but yes let’s stay strong lol.💪 I had 5 things I was allowing myself to buy until November, but I just added a 6th thing 🤦‍♀️

I think you cracked the code about the holiday collections being the roadmap for the next year’s launches. I much prefer the new formula she uses in her quints that have no pan so these quads are an easy pass for me. I believe Prada uses this same formula without a pan.

It’s crazy this is the second release with re-promoted shades from the holiday. It’s really sad. But I guess it’s good for my wallet, because I’m not interested in this at all-not even a little!!

I just received my Dior limited Paris collection eyeshadow quint #083. Very sparkling feels like holiday vibe. I got Chanel limited eyeshadow quad #388 and # 78 so I bought some limited eyeshadow this far. @kieutran5983 I really hate the move to cardboard packaging. @lonewolf8667 • 1 hour ago I had to look on one of her insta photos of the shadows by themselves because all this pink packaging really threw me off. These are not for me, maybe if the purple and turquoise had been coupled with two different colours. I still only have two motherships, so I rather buy one of those, or the Blitz Astral Quad Nocturnal Nirvana. @DeliciaTrini I don't know who's at the steering wheel of PML. She does major fashion shows in Europe and the Met gala in NYC. I'm not here to trash PML, I'm a Stan! It saddens me to see the decline of her products. I will still buy the purple palette. I wish she didn't bother producing the gold palette and put the purple palette in the lacquer packaging, even if she had to increase the price by $10. I think she is cheapening the quality of her makeup to appeal to the every day costumer who can't afford luxury, hence the packaging of the cream blushes. The product is great, but the packaging, not not so much. There's probably more money in appealing to the everyday costumer. The last baked-gele product she made was Christmas 2023 with Dark Star 006 V4 single eyeshadow. I purchased it and it's spectacular, it if you're into those striking colors. I prefer softer colors. I can' believe I'm going to say this, but I think I may have to accept the inevitable and move on to the next best thing, Bobbi Brown. My reply: Still i think that Bobbi Brown is a subtle version so not the same impact. I’m going to re-release this video since I was too sleepy when I recorded it and I made a better version. But I will recopy this comment ❤

I wish I can purchase the two Bobbi Brown palettes. I'm in the US and I don't see them on her website or Sephora website.

I'm sure these palettes are gorgeous, but the price is outrageous. I don't think I really need any of them. I'd love to swatch them in person just for science :) But so far, as you said, I'm not convinced.

Dior Paris just dropped in the US… it’s $10 more than the permanent palettes or $8 from their special limited edition releases. Not as terrible markup compared to when Chanel released the tweed quads.

The BK 101 is my favourite foundation brush too. I mainly apply foundation with my fingers but for certain foundations I prefer a brush. As much as I love my fude for powders, I prefer synthetics for creams & liquids.

Lovely soft synthetic bristle foundation brushes from Mykitco and Cozzette complexion series.

I also prefer bk 101 over jumbo base. I recommend getting the Angie hot n flashy travel set because it comes with the 101, the Angie concealer brush and a few other great Angie brushes.

Smashbox have pretty much same shape foundation brush. It is good but I don’t know how it compare to BK or Sonia G same type brushes. I would like to know if someone have them. Thank you again for great video😊

A couple of weeks ago I just thought "f*ck it" and bought a bunch of brushes from Temu. I wanted the plastic crystal handle ones (won't get damaged from cleaning) from Clionadh, but most are sold out and won't be restocked. Temu has endless supply of brushes like that, I have two of the Clionadh ones and they don't seem to be of better quality than the Temu brushes. I bet they are from the same factory.

Ah!! Since I have the eye and face brush sets from BK, I've set aside all my Sonia G an fude brushes. They are more practical, and I love the shape of 101 brush!

Thank you Claudia!!! You are a sweetheart! I also have one of those old school flat brushes to apply face masks. I see your point about the BK Beauty brush, it will be a slightly different experience. I wanted the slanted shape more for cream blush/bronzer/highligher and I think the Sonia G brush works really well for that. I don't have a large face so I like the more compact bundling for more precise application. I know BK has a smaller version of this brush too, I think that would have been perfect for me. The Bdellium Tools one actually looks like a worthy dupe of it.

I prefer synthetics for creams and liquids and love the hourglass brushes but they are expensive! Rose Inc, Rare Beauty and Units (very inexpensive available on Beautylish) have more similar slanted shapes to the BK one you showed but in different sizes. I use that shape but smaller for concealer and cream and liquid blush. I rarely wear foundation but I prefer the rounder top hourglass brush if I use a brush at all rather than fingers. The one natural hair brush I love for liquids is the Rephr 4 brush. I prefer it especially with the Daniel Sandler formula.

Would buy again) and the Anti-Aging Foundation (white packaging). Unfortunately, I don’t trust that the shade this rep chose is way too dark for me, so I need to ask around to see if I can sample a few with the possibility to exchange it. 😢

I once took a bubble lipstick pack to a girls weekend (so I’d be forced to use it lol), and someone asked me if it was a prescription 😂

My cats have a ball like this, with a little hole on side so they can paw it around to get treats out of it 🤣🤣🤣. I am trying not buy any of these YSL lipsticks because I am not a tinted balm person. Seems a bit odd that for a lip product event, there was no mini lip product.

I have to agree with you. I prefer the natural look of baked gelee formulas but I won't pay as much as Chantecaille charges. I am so curious about the RMS bronzers. I don't live anywhere I can swatch them and I need to see more comparisons before I order. ❤

Idk about all of the Dior quints but the blue one is very glittery and I think it's part of the name so I'm wondering if all of them are very glittery instead of satin . Idk I was thinking of picking up one but if they are all glittery I don't want to spend 75$ on them ( I'm not a glitter girl) . I was thinking of the grey or the more neutral one. These pink blushes always look like highlight on me so I'm skipping these pink blush releases . I have the RMS french rose and it looks like a straight pink highlight but I need to get another darker shade maidens blush or crystal slipper but I'm wondering if crystal slipper is to light for med tan skin tone. I definitely don't think the Chanel quads are an all in one cohesive type of pallet unless ur into alot of colors together, I would use the colors for different looks not all together but I really like the purple so that one will probably be a yes I really like the Chanel baked formula on the eyes .

If Dior wants to charge extra at least the special design could be on the actual packaging and not just the pouch. I bought three of those Bobbi Brown blushes last year, they’re beautiful and worth it!

I love the look of the blue Dior quint but I will be honest, I think the Dior baked formula is not my fave. It is a tad too powdery. I might eventually try another shade of the RMS blushes because the one I bought last year wasn't an optimal colour for me so I gave it to a friend.

I love the RMS blushes & bronzer in Beachwalk Betty. Interestingly the RMS formula is actually not baked gelee & I have heard the owner explain this in one of her tutorials.
