The real problem is the time it takes... it should be a quick 30 second idle and you're out, nobody would care
But then the big combo click click clickidy click decks would be in trouble (but honestly I wouldn't care)
The game should just detect when you are connected and still thinking, or when you're actually disconnected. I have played games that were able to do that and replaced you with a bot when you were actually disconnected and gave the opponents/teammates a message that you had left.
Combo decks shouldn't be in trouble, because when you're taking actions the timer shouldn't even be going down.

So, on to gathering oxygen.
One can think of gills as inside-out lungs. Both systems extract oxygen from the medium the creatures live in, I.e. water in the case of (most all) fish by using their gills, and air in the case of (most all) human meat puppets, and deliver the oxygen to the creature. The end results are the same, but the extraction methods are different. As are the meat chambers the oxygen extractors operate in on a regular basis.

Saddle is a misnomer anyway. The word they were looking for was mount or ride. Because if you saddle something you are not actually riding it (yet). Also it's weird that the saddle seems to come off again when the turn ends, but dismounting at end of turn that's less weird.
I would have kept it as saddle, but have the creature become mounted.
Saddle makes sense in that it's sorcery only and saddling is a bit of an involved process. It is a bit strange to be unsaddled at end of turn.

I love that Cruel Ultimatum is in this set. I made a deck for it as soon as I found it in the list. Copying it with the new jace and chandra in one turn is so hilarius.
there is a green intent speed spell that puts 3 cards from any graveyards back into the deck & it is only one green & u gain 2 Life. Turn the earth. Good card. but I don't think they have it.
Great card, maindecked vs the azorious mill matchup when they tap out to double Jace, and absolutely destroys Reenact, Squirming, Nissa landfall etc
