Hey Swayze, I first of all just want to say how much I appreciate your positive attitude and fun decks! Thanks! Also, I know how much you hate sweepers (me too) and I have just been getting destroyed by those control decks. So I made a janky blue/white soldier deck with protect the negotiators that has been pretty effective. I’m sure adjustments can be made, but I get such joy out of the frustration control players must feel when they get countered!

As much as I hate Breach The Multiverse, this looks like a fun list! I’ve always wished Thalia and the Gitrog Monster saw more play, and I’m a big fan of the Mycotyrant. I played a Mycotyrant+Breach combo deck when it first came out, it’s pretty bonkers.

When do you play? I wanna que then because I never see this kind of diversity in decks in standard. If I play 5 games, 2-3 are Esper mid and the rest are boros convoke. I just do not face other decks in standard
I despise 200-300 card decks they win most of the time leads to broken shufflers

I've mentioned this before on the ARena reddits, I dont get how these 200+ card piles are allowed to function and it super bad fels to lose to them b/c you know they have 0, absolutely zero win cons, they are literally only full of counters mass removal and draw spells and their game plan is to fustrate you to scooping or outlasting you till you deck out. I feel like its a potential symptom of a few things, namely for Standard that we have WAY too many efficient sweepers, like having upwards of 16 sweepers in a Standard format is insane. also, just too much card selection, things like Silver Scrutiny and other draw spells mean they are NEVER out of gas.. these combined mean that players can just sit back and always have a grip and just let you waste your time. its a troll strategy that shouldnt work and I wish WOTC would look into it. its even worse in Explorer where Yorion and other busted cards are available
outlasting the opponent and having them draw the final card is considered a wincon unfortunately as unfun as that is.
And they draw better too, so you can't tell me the draw isn't manipulated
Also came here to say they are gaming the "perfectly random and optimized nothing to see here, folks" shuffler.
All these 'no win con' control deck players have a lot more time on their hands than I do
I’ve tracked it.
In my entire time since I came back to playing Arena over the last 5 expansions, I have won against a 100+ card pile exactly once.
It is INSANE how they always have exactly the tool they need for every situation. Especially since it should be statistically less likely given the size of their deck.
Anymore I just auto-scoop any time I see I’m against a 100+ card pile. It’s simply not worth the time and frustration.
