The last one was even worse... I think it's possibly the worst game he's played this year hands down and a perfect example of someone who has no idea how to pilot their own deck.
@e4jasperi it did everything he needed it to do: keep you watching while you angrily dug into the comments to spew rage. This whole channel is the greatest nerdbait and the comments make it worthwhile 😄
@@hellcat7528 Yes that’s my point. > Play Gambit > Give it to opponent with birb > Bounce it back to your hand, forcing them to sac and discard > Rinse and repeat
I agree, bouncing the card turns it into an engine. Maybe it's worth considering sultai here, with This Town ain't Big Enough + Up the Beanstalk combo: you cast the bounce for 2, still draw a card because cmc doesn't change, block with Raven (it's free), bounce it and Gambit to start all over again. Otherwise, you play it safe with Consuming Tide. Plus, both Otawara AND Boseiju would turn into win conditions. Jewel may also be needed: both Vault and Celestus become powerhouses, channel lands are almost free and so on. As an alternative, Stern Lesson draws 2 at instant speed and gives you a powerstone which can be used to turn Raven face up. Tough call though.
@@TheFeintOfHearts got it, I see wym. Good point in that case however the method of doing the whole swap is too inconsistent considering how much setup it requires, therefore I believe it should be nothing more but just a janky strategy added onto basic esper control
I didn't know senpai was Canadian since the Canadians are prettty much the reason for the vast majority of articles in respone to their actions during WWi lol
I think the last game gave me some kind of incurable brain disease. Doesn't counter the important plays (probably doesn't even know you can counter the battle flip), doesn't play high noon to stop the runaway draw from the Ephara he failed to counter, and then makes horrible decisions with how to find the cards he needs... I keep watching to make myself feel better about my own misplays.
Stopped watching after the 1st game, That was a horrible waste of several opportunities. 10/10 Continue.

The amount of times he can counter something important and choses not to and that kills him its over the top.
10/10 keep it up
I take psychic damage from your plays sometimes but I can overlook it if table-kun gets a spanking
If something is to be a sugestion its a Memorandum as in The Pelikan Memorandum, so you should talk about the Geneva Memorandum. 11/10 never change
Best video yet!
Missing that counter spells was luls
So bad I cringed, if it was intentional it wasn’t that funny. If not intentional is sad af.

For the record, it’s better to bounce Greed’s Gambit than destroy it
Literally no 💀
It leaves the battlefield if u bounce it, idk if you read the card 🗿

@@TheFeintOfHearts I originally thought you meant bouncing it while You control it, to bounce it to your hand
Everyone trippin, the first game was fire. 99% of gamblers quit before winning big fr.

Cast Get Lost on your own Greed's Gambit - problem solved
Endlich!!!
did nobody realise the chuckles reference in the intro?
Lathered? Bro…. Better to win by forfeit, then lose slow and painful. Especially by your own hand. 😮
Nice
Field of Ruin....
What? No Chimil? Is this even legal?
