Judy Landers was one of my first celebrity crushes and I remember when she was on BJ and the Bear
Loved Judy Landers! She was also a regular on the syndicated Madames Place
Wow! I forgot about that show. Thank you for mentioning it.
Both of the sisters had great natural bodies. No silicon or injections anywhere!
I always got a kick out of Audrey's character, Val, in A Chorus Line, 1985! ❤😂❤
Fun movie!
@@jdsundstrom She was great
"I'll get you, my pretty! And your Maxwell House coffee, too!"
Sharp eye! Margaret Hamilton was the co-star with Audrey in the commercial at the end.
I really enjoyed Judy in an obscure TV show called "Madame's Place".
I remember that show well! Wayland Flowers (and his puppet, Madame) got their start on "Solid Gold".
@@jdsundstromCheck out Madame's Las Vegas act!
Both guest-starred on 2 of my favorite shows, "Happy Days" and "The Love Boat".
I also remember when the Landers Sisters when they had their kids show, "The Huggabug Club".
My niece used to watch that back in the 90s.
Thanks for sharing!
I had that issue at one point in my life, but it is now long lost. I hope you are doing well, Dave. Loved the Landers sisters, and tried to keep up with all their appearances. I remember an episode of Fantasy Island that had Audrey and Barbi Benton as Vegas showgirls. I had this friend at the time who had been to Europe and he had brought me back an Audrey Landers cassette tape. She was a singing superstar over there like David Hasselhoff. I used to play that tape over and over, and i wore it out and it is also long gone. But the memories remain, The Landers sisters, the Brough twins, the Barnstable twins, all truly had their place in pop culture and never again will there be a time like that. There are just no 'stars' today that capture that magic and that heat. It's a different landscape now and we will never see it's like again. Thanks for the video Dave, any memory of a better time is a good memory.
Thanks for sharing your memories!
@@jdsundstrom congrats to both Sisters for sticking to their choice not to pose nude in Playboy a Mag known for nudes of beautifull women............the other side of the coin you can bet their male fans and I assume some Female fans were disappointed in their choice....but oh well to each their own.
I'm glad they posed & felt positive about the experience.
Me too.
Team Audrey, all the way.
I liked her guest appearance on the original "MacGyver" episode "Two Times Trouble".
Thanks Dave,
quite an interesting morsel of information...
Audrey was in an episode of the original "Battlestar Galactica". Both natural beauties and I can't remember ever hearing a bad word about either of them.
I was in love with these girls! Thanks for posting . Fond memories
Glad you enjoyed it
Yes, Judy Landers was also on _Madame's Place_, along with a young Corey Feldman. I often had trouble telling Judy and Audrey apart.
I wanted to love "Madame's Place"...but I think the best thing that show had going for it was Judy.
@@jdsundstrom People either really loved or really hated Madame.
Unfortunately, AIDS took Wayland Flowers away from us in 1988. He was only 48.
Audrey Landers got an earlier start on the NBC daytime soap Somerset, which was a spinoff of Another World. She played Heather Lawrence-Caine. She also played a mean college girl on Charlie's Angels a few years later!
Good info! Thanks for sharing.
Whoa. That picture of Vegas. Phyllis Davis! Oh, my!
Look for a video about Phyllis in the not too distant future.
They were class acts for sure!! Thank you Dave for this video and have a blessed day 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it. Have a great day as well, Bridget!
I remember the Landers sisters doing an episode of the HBO series The Hitchhiker as a pair of sisters with some twisted interests. It goes to show that they were in demand and they were in the driver’s seat. It was also easy to tell them apart. Judy has large eyes and an a sort of angular face and a an athletic figure. Audrey had a rounder face and a curvier figure.
Maxwell House coffee. Margaret Hamilton shook off the Wicked Witch of the West role(in fact in the movie 13 Ghosts, she held a broom and dressed in black while neither confirming nor denying that she is a witch) and became a familiar face on television like George Whipple, Ronald McDonald or Morris the cat.
Knight Rider. The Pontiac Trans Am was always a futuristic vehicle. This show made it a car everyone wanted to buy because of its aerodynamic design. A classmate in my high school bought a Trans Am and even wore a Members Only jacket like Michael Knight did(but it wasn’t leather). Members Only jackets. A simple design that ruled the early part of the 80’s before Indiana Jones made the bomber jacket popular again. But I digress.
The two of them were so pretty and I must admit I had a crush on both of them in my younger days. All natural beauties. I also recall Audrey sang on "Dallas" a few times. I saw some of the "Playboy" photos they did and they were quite tame compared to what female entertainers these days put on social media or wear on red carpets at big shows. When my daughter was younger, I used to watch an old children's show with her called "The Huggabug Club" that they starred in and I believe produced later in their careers.
They have also been married to the same men since 1987 and 1988. They are classy women.
There was one reason and one reason alone to watch the awful "Madam's Place" and it was Judy Landers. And I always wished that Cliff and Afton would have stayed together. I did feel that they both probably had a lot more acting talent than what they were allowed to show, but that's Hollywood. Good on them for taking life on their own terms.
Thanks for sharing!
"Here! Have some Maxwell House coffee! And your little dog too!"
The Landers sisters appeared together, as sisters, in the Split Decision episode of the show The Hitchhiker. It was the third of the initial batch of three episodes, before it became a regular series on HBO and they replaced Nicholas Campbell with Page Fletcher.
Of the two sisters, I always preferred Audrey. :)
B.g and the bear
They were all over the place in the 80's. Audrey's song Manuel Goodbye is really catchy!
You're right. It's a great song.
Beautiful and talented. At least they didn't give away the goods and left a little to the imagination.
Aubrey and Margaret Hamilton the wicked witch of Oz😊! Great commercial!
Dave do you remeber both Judy and Audrey Landers in the 1989 movie Ghost writer? Audrey sang the title song from the movie. 👻✍🎥🎬
I remember the movie well. In fact, I rewatched it when it was on Tubi last year.
Both sisters yeah i remember
Well said, Dave. Well said.
Thanks Jack!
Both were great on Vegas and B.J. And The Bear. Thank you Dave for this video.
Glad you enjoyed it
I remember seeing Judy Landers in an A-Team episode “Where is the monster when you need him?” Season 4. I know I’m an A-Team nerd lol Glad they didn’t compromise when it came to Playboy bravo ladies.
Thanks for sharing, Angela!
They had the beauty of the Gabor sisters(or more) so I'm surprised they didn't make it bigger!
I liked Judy on Vega$, but I crushed on Phyllis Davis.
I watched Audrey on Dallas, she was a night club singer, I think. I liked her character however I seem to remember she only knew I song!
I bet they broke alotta hearts too! 😮
Without a doubt!
I liked Judy on "B.J. And The Bear"... It is where I first crushed on her. :)
That show was one of the first places I saw Judy as well.
Was so in love with these 2 ladies as a pre teen. I was naive and didn’t even know exactly how sex worked so this reminds me of that nervous but wonderful feeling I got when they appeared. I like the style and phraseology of you videos. Interesting and classy. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing your memories...and for your kind words, Brian. 🙂
I'm watching my Rockford Files DVDs these days.
Integrity may not appear on the balance sheet, but maybe it should
It definitely should be!
Great video!
Thanks!
I loved these 2 !!!
Me too!
Doll collection.
Both of the Landers sisters were gorgeous. With Judy In BJ and the Bear and my favorite Dallas with Audrey. I'm glad they kept to their demands regarding no nudity in Play Boy I'm guessing Hugh Hefner didn't like that Dave.🙋
Thanks for the comment, Sekena. Even though I'm sure Hugh was disappointed that the sisters wouldn't bare all, he had to be pleased that they offered to be in the magazine for free.
@@jdsundstrom 😆I know right!💸
Hello, Dave. Speaking of Judy Landers, way back in the early 1980's I tried, unsuccessfully to get an interview with her. I also tried and failed to get an interview with Daisy Duke aka Catherine Bach. But at least I did meet and got a kiss from her. I did have a few successes though. I met and interviewed Jay Leno and thanks to someone I knew at a radio station I was able to get into a press conference with Red Skelton. Which brings me to asking you for advice on my doing interviews again. But doing sit down, face to face interviews is different from doing them over the internet. If you have any advice you can offer let me know.
I don't do many interviews and the main reason is that I'm not very good at them. If you want to see someone who I think is really good at interviewing celebrities, check out Pat McCormack's "Golden Rage of TV" UA-cam channel.
@@jdsundstrom I'll check him out. Yeah, I started out not so good with the questions but Jay Leno was nice enough to say "good enough". That gave me some experience and I learned how to ask better questions. For example asking open ended questions that got them talking rather than closed, yes or no type of questions. But I have over 40 yrs of rust snd having to learn using internet cameras and audio. But a lot of movies and tv shows are filmed here maybe a face to face sit down interview could be arranged.
@@jdsundstrom Maybe you can help me out. Putting interviews aside, how do I set up and run the online audio and video part of it. What cameras and mics and software do you suggest and how do I set them up? This is where I need the help.
Judy Landers from Stewardess School ... Holy sheet! .. So damn hot. That scene where she's crawling around in front of the administrators showing that cake. Didn't get any better than that appearance.
Judy also starred in the movie, "Dr. Alien", which was shown a lot on Cinemax back in the day.
@@stillaboveground2470 I caught that on Tubi or something when I was drinking one night and I think I clicked off of it. If she's got some good scenes like Stewardess School maybe I'll try and check it out again. 😂I don't remember seeing her exploiting herself .. probably why I turned it off.
Ooooomy 🎉
i liked dallas. and i liked judy in buck rogers. for some reason i thought judy and audrey were twins.
Aubrey was great in Dallas. She deserved more screen time.
Totally agree!
@@jdsundstrom You should do a fireside chat with my friend Brian Lee Martinez on Badger Live Streams. It's a men's issues channel but he often talks about pop culture. Stuff like making men look useless in movies and on TV the two of you could probably have a nice chat discussing then vs now.
People think they're twins, they're not. Audrey is 2 years older.
I'm not gonna lie, I used to think they were twins too because they looked so much alike, but then before I verified it that Audrey was older back then. I kind of knew Judy was younger, she had a more sweet aura about her that felt like she was somebody's kid sister.
@@retrowarehouse2554 Audrey was good a playing evil characters. I cannot see Judy doing that.
All that time I thought they twin sister
@@JP5466 Yeah, she was good at playing evil characters. I noticed her for the first time on an episode of Charlie's Angels called Teen Angels where she was killing people. Judy is too sweet with her personality.
@@retrowarehouse2554 Yes! I watched that one recently. Judy was on CA once too, as the chicken delivery girl and Bosley keep saying he ordered "breasts" - no doubt that was written that way on purpose.
They don't make them like that anymore!
Hollywood Squares...
Judy on BJ & the Bear!
Judy's my weakness.
I'm partial to Judy as well. But...they are both beautiful ladies.
Good for them! Just goes to show, because youre female, you dont have to take your clothes off! Still can be sucessful and popular. We need more like this. Shout out to Caroline Munro!!!
Such cuties they were Dave interesting thanks for sharing buddy
My pleasure
Thanks buddy
No nudity! Disappointed to my teenage fantasies but half filled my bucket list!
I totally understand.
Great 😊
Thanks 😊
@@jdsundstrom
Mike: "Ed Wood's 'Lolita.'"🤣
❤❤❤😮😮😮😊😊😊 Dave
Were they twins? I remember talking about it that back in the day.
I think Audrey is 2 years older than Judy.
You are correct. Audrey is two years older.
👍👍👍📺
Pretty girls!
Even as a kid, I remember BJ and the Bear becoming BJ and the "b1mbos". Judy was usually typecast as one, unfortunately.
👍🏼👍🏼😃
"Hey, Hef. Guess what? Judy and Audrey have agreed to a pictoral. They also don't want any money."
Hef may have loved sex. But he's still a guy, and most guys still love money even more.
The better choice would have been to stay away from Playboy altogether.
Six of one half a dozen of the other
??? Not worth buying then, but at least they were up from unlike Raquel Welch.
Should of choose hustler magazine
It shows more
I think you kinda missed the point of the video. 🙂
@@jdsundstrom no I did not lol
Audrey was much prettier and more talented than her sister in my opinion.
Boooooo
