    I had breathing problems since birth. I wa told it was asthma. But I became aware that it was a digestion issue which caused stomach acid to sneak up into my esophagus which caused mucus in my throat every day. Which resulted in mucus draining down my respiratory track into my bronchial tubes making breathing extremely difficult. It was thought that it was my lungs... it nearly killed me many times. I tried every therapy for lungs. Inhalers nearly destroyed me (raised my blood pressure to 190.)
    Many people have solved their "asthma" issues by solving their digestive problem. Ginger helps. Garlic. Onion. Turmeric. Vitamin D3/K2. Belly laughter and crazy wild dancing help remove mucus too! I know because I've practiced what I preached all my life and I'm 83 years old by the grace of herbs sent to us by God!!

    I blend whole lemons with ginger in a blender and add little water and drink raw. Never felt better after a week of doing this every morning on an empty stomach.

    Drinking ginger tea healed my ulcer (along with changing my diet and going super low carb). Also, we drink ginger tea with lemon grass and thyme every day (I grow the lemon grass and thyme), and both my room mate and I have noticed that it helps with the breathing. He claims it's the thyme, but I do love my ginger tea! This is GREAT information, and I thank you. You have a real dedication to health, and I DO find your videos motivational.     I slice fresh ginger and grind it in my daily smoothie. Winter is almost over in the High Desert and I have not had a cold, sinus infection, covid, nothing all winter. Love you Dr. M!

    Ginger tea is great, the thinner slices the better it is. Thicker slices need to cook longer. And don't throw the slices away, they will be probably be good enough for att least a second cup also, just add fresh water again. You will taste when it's time to replace them. And that way you also learn how many slices you want.

      Get your thinnest slices into thermos bottle (bottle preheated w/hot water)
      Then fill with boiling water let steep overnight. (Organic so u dont need to peel the root first)

    I believe it was essential to reduce the size of the seroma on my back! My lymph system was clogged from drain left behind for 52 years!!! I suffered so long..     I drink ginger tea twice a day. I add lemon juice and raw honey and once a day 1tbsp of apple cider vinegar. It's the best tea in my opinion.

      @@TheRealSyrett Fresh, washed ginger, thinly sliced. In 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, let simmer 10 minutes. Add honey and lemon. The amount of ginger is up to you. I use about an inch of ginger root. 👍🏻

    I grate tablespoon fresh ginger 1/2 lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon Manuka honey 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper with hot water but good when it cold as well. My blood changed from dark and thick to bright red and thinner. Its enjoyable better than tea and coffee.

    Doctor Mandell you are very brave. I have found that if I eat the thin ginger slices with my sushi at least once a week especially with allergy season kicking off. It has helped me with being not so stuffed up, I can breathe better, and not so much mucus for me. Hope this helps folks to even get a little bit of ginger it doesnt have to be as extreme but, do what you can to help you breathe better.

    I created a ginger tonic after having two gallbladder attacks!! The nausea was unbearable! I wish I had known about the anti nausea properties of ginger when I was pregnant because that would have been such a great relief!!!

    I freeze dry ginger to a powder and add it to drinks with lemon water usually. I also follow a couple of other chia seed recipes from Dr Mandells videos. I hope this helps, much love, peace and protection to ALL.

    Good morning Doc. Hope you are well. I have most of the problems you r talking about today. My lungs r producing mucus, and I can't get it to stop. I put a Castor oil poltice every day to keep the mucus at bay. I also have stomach issues, this morning I had terrible diarrhea. I am going to try the ginger today, for all my issues. Wish me luck.       Something else to help with your breathing is oil of oregano.

      Use electric heating pad and place it on your back. If you use Air Conditioner then put it on Dry mode. Also sniffing Vicks helps in deep breathing. Inflate your stomach while Inhaling from your nose and deflate your stomach while exhaling from your mouth.

    Thanks Dr. Mandel. Once again, as usual, you’re 100% correct. Ginger is a staple in my household. It’s made into various drinks. It does the body good. There are many others like Turmeric, Garlic, lemons/lime, and cinnamon.

    All I know is that Dr Mandell is my doctor. I feel like firing my pulmonary, cardiologist, nephrology and primary care doctors. Been going to the doctor's for a double lung transplant and kidney issues for 8 years and not 1 time do they ever suggest natural treatment remedies.     I boil sliced ginger with dried dates and pour it over black tea every day, all day. Regularity is rarely an issue. And I chew the boiled ginger afterward. I believe it has some anti-inflammatory benefits as well. 🫚

    I have a grandson with cystic fibrosis, he is 20 now so very blessed everyday 🙏🙏. Never have told him to sit down,he has played baseball, football, scooter, street boards!!! Would this be something he could have on a bad day??
