these tangaras was much older as the silver sets, because their driving technology's was very 90 or 80s driving style, being operated from the crew compartment. it was a very different era, but now because you got brand newer modern M sets/H & A sets that operates newer driving technology, everything in the cab is very modern that u can see today. although unfortunately with the tangara guard announcements, it's pretty much still blurr because you couldn't hear the loud frequency from the PVA which has the difficulty for some passengers to hear the guards announcements, they were meaning to progress with the technology upgrade program to improve the on-board tangaras radio technology and other things.
The T sets trains are definitely older as there is no PDF display on these trains and the announcement is through a speaker whereas for the newer trains, it shows the PDF which displays the station name.
@@travelexplorer774I only noticed how these have only been in the old cityrail lively in those days where they in need of repaint on the doors and refurbishment on the inside up until after sydney trains took over, new M set styles train doors were installed on-board all t set units to prevent further vandals on vandalizing train carriage doors.
@@travelexplorer774 these are your usual silver's the C set/K set/V set/ including the R & L sets. that used to exist. not sure why. but they were classed different. & it can be confusing because they were built similar as it was same product by comeng. & that their plates were classed as L & R sets instead of an s set
