I always get that the new opening & closing doors chimes is a modern feature on these metro trains including some overseas aswell.
@@EoL66879 They are and I think this announcement would apply to the new Western Sydney metro once it opens.
my operator transit systems in region 3 has those including busways in region 1
Transit Systems and Busways acquired a few of these buses when westbus ceased its operations in 2013.
I used to fly Thai airways and the old airline that once existed virgin blue. that airline had ceased, so its only now Qantas & other international carriers that operates to Sydney & other states, but now most Australian airlines like tiger airways bonza have collapsed so they no longer have operated anymore services in Australia. because becoming an airline is very lucrative market in the airline industry operating thousands of services every week in Australia to different countries worldwide. the contracts to operate these services is very competitive especially if your an airline, they make a lot of money of operating as an airline because having big such contracts like this, had enabled them to be big in the Australian market.
airbus is quite a competitive aircraft brand builder to Boeing that currently produced their dreamliner products. while the airbus brand once used to produce the A380's. most airlines internationally have purchased their orders from Boeing and airbus. as now most older aircrafts get retired, the airlines mostly go for the newer products to be more fuel efficient & safer. while most of the older aircrafts will get converted to freighters to haul volumes of freight in and out of sydney every year. which creates a higher demand for freight services being needed for qantas and dhl & other cargo airline operators
we in sydney used to start adopting this new single deck driverless system in sydney, it's given us a whole new way of travelling for the first time under sydney harbour and into the north west aswell.
The Sydney Metro Does gives us a new way of travelling and it is one of the first driverless metro to operate in Australia.
Very comfortable. Love riding the trainbila balik kampung
I also liked riding on the KTM ETS train and when I went to Kuala Lumpur, I sat on economy class for this train and then business class on the way back to Penang. What I like about sitting in business class on this train are, you get free meals (depending on how far is your journey) and IFE screens. The legroom is bigger when you sit on business class than sitting on economy.

that's a nice red rattler carriage. one of the best restored units. I can remember it was once our operational fully working trains that once serviced sydney back in the decades. in the modern times their mostly run on rail society herritage tours. it was exciting to see them being in their full prime. they represent our past history of when red rattlers had run in our city. its very important that train historians keep these historic sets preserved for generations to see our original trains from the early days. so that everyone don't miss out.
@@EoL66879This train does represent on what people used to ride back in the old days where there were no air-conditioned train but with windows that you’re able to open to allow fresh air. I hope the historians preserve at least 1 or more K and V set trains so people can look back on the trains that used to serve Sydney and NSW trains.

I just hope busways can keep those models in good shape with regular maintenance & repaints of the liverly on the outside of body because from most time to time the new paint job would often start rusting out and they need to repaint it. because some buses are working on shifts without major overhaul with some of its paintwork peeling off. I know the old liverly from the decades had lasted for so many years especially when the new tfnsw liverly took over these models. they started finally being tfnsw state run buses. it was disaster when they wernt looked after properly from the beginning. as the b12bleas had major issues during this year, and it wasn't looking good for their fleet. so major backup like these standard ones can still operate of some of those services In the long-term because their new purchase of replacement buses maybe decades or years away. because you have to understand that these models have been around for years now replacing the aging PMC models that were high stepped in those days & the disabled and mothers with prams had hard time trying to board the bus it had no ramp. but somewhere in the 2000's Sta ordered the state of the art custom coaches B12ble models to replace the ageing models.
@@EoL66879 Some of the buses (especially the paint) under privatisation isn’t looking too good now and I hope the paint doesn’t come of easily on buses that were painted into the TFNSW livery. Some of the ex-STA bus depots have their own design of the buses with TFNSW such as placing the number (e.g from instead of putting it on the front side, logo etc).
currently the south coast line is running the nifs in their first weeks of service so hopefully later then the blue mountains lines comes next. for the next batch to operate that line.
I believe that TFNSW are gradually allowing the new D sets to run on the BMT and the SCO lines which means that the H set trains will eventually be converted into suburban use.

Sorry For Spamming 😢😢😢
@@SamuelThing It’s okay. Just don’t do it again.
you see @travelexplorer774 you need to trust the right person to not do it again. because otherwise someone else on the same account will abuse it again and again. & i cant tell who the person is if they simply can't be trusted you know because I was aware at that time that this account was under the same name as it was the same person who was spamming then someone else was on that account. trying to blame me last time. as the main issue is,1. trusting the right person under the same account name weather it's the person or someone else running it, & 2. giving people too much privileges of commenting like whatever they want. should be limited to people who are transport enthusiast that can give insight and information on about buses in our state. but too much freedom will let them go too far. as transport vloggers have a hard time doing their job doing what they love on a daily basis because they enjoy filming public transport for everyone. with people taking up so much attention on the comments from other people, I just feel that, they need to give others a chance & not take the spotlight away from everyone. because the comments were there designed to allow everyone to give their say on a video. but spamming is taking it too far for attention. because people simply need to do the right thing and work on their behaviour to make the vloggers job easier. be careful about the person you trust @travelexplorer774 because this person might still have refused of not doing it again. but always keep watch on your comments in case he does it again. because I was the one raising the issue with this account to make sure your videos are not being spammed too much by people just seeking attention. so if it's understood that people can't expect to get attention their way all the time.
it's a shame that we see time again people still vandalize our trains which taxpayers who funded our taxpayer dollars into investing in good reliable public transport. is still getting neglected by vandals, by having our trains getting cleaned everytime and taken out of service because of unsafe practices by people trespassing on rail property and destroying our trains. because the T sets/K and newer sets now got all vandalised. so we as a regular frquent commuter on our public trains, it is only right that we need to feel outraged by inconvenienced vandalism on our network. because look what they been doing to our train network, they vandalised all our newer and older rail fleet, including infrastructures like signal boxes & epscially freight wagons anything from bulk grain and coal hoppers, its the result of them being targeted more. because it has a bigger impact on the whole network & it is the corridor being shared bewtween freight & passenger rail agencies that had run their services locally and interstate. they only can't afford to lose a singlr profit from damage being done to their fleet. this would have impacted their services on the network and passengers services gets the most attention when people see these bad graffitis all over our new trains. so I feel like when we pay for our public transport to be more better in the long term. it's best that the transport agency and government need to better protect our public transport from such damaging acts on our network again. because people may need to remember, that if we don't have enough services running on the network during the day or afternoon even evening peaks will be disastrous.
i noticed they still run some of ex G sets on the network with the luggage racks at top of seats in the aisle area.

i been experiencing on mechanical issues on-board my M set blacktown service going to Blacktown from cabramtta today & it's been a wider issue of gangway doors not shutting properly & PID not in working mode. they have beem plaguing with teething problems with a few features. so it seems that some of the non working sets needs to be upgraded again at EDI Rail at cardiff for fixing. because its unfortunately they been suffering mechanical faults for nearly a a couple of years it seems.
I agree and the PIDs should be replaced like what the H sets have and the gangway doors should be fixed in order to shut properly.
@@travelexplorer774 definetly, it will improve more quality audio of the voice announcements and better picture quality of the destination stops along the designated route. to give customers more clear reading on-board their service. but in the old days decades ago traditional we only had thetrain guard voicing the announcements way before decades later it was first the latest newer technology PID screens was rolled out, today the announcements is still done with guard announcements introducing the service and stops plus displaying the stops too on the PID display. but some faulty modern ones on the M sets is really faulty. so they won't work most of the time on mostly the sets that is affected. they have green plates in front that tells which set the M is. it will have a number next to it. but hopefully gradually overtime, the rail team will keep getting these sets fixed and serviced so that everything on the milleniums is working properly again. marking these M sets 22 years old now.
