I'm impressed how fast changing the front pads was, even though it was longer than 60secs. It takes me longer than that to remember where I left the wheel brace
Evening Lads Fantastic video, definitely worthy of a great little flip this Panda. Cracking little motor. Charlie, well impressed you're getting more & more stuck in to jobs in each video. TikTok , fb...... I'm too unfashionable & old for both of em..... But I look forward to each & every video you both put up. Keep em coming. Stay lucky. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Alan L200
@@HomeBuilt Now that's something to look forward to. Great to see the channel going from strength to strength, ya hard work is paying off. You're definitely both more relaxed in front of the camera compared to the early days, bouncing banter between each other too. Keep up the good work fella's. Stay lucky. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Sorry for the delayed reply, this link is the one we use. There are cheaper ones but they only do 430nm of torque and this one is 700nm, its well worth the extra spend. amzn.to/3zUFUy3
Correct, the beam is not solid and can flex, its a pressed steel single plated beam. This car will now wear the rear tyres on the outside edge due to the slight bowing of the rear beam.
Very rarely see a Fiat here in Ireland.....they got a bad reputation in the 80s......running joke was Fiat=fix it again tomorrow, are they popular in Scotland?
Used to buy a lot mainly in cities in England mostly small stuff toyota yaris and mirca for years got to know the hot spots for rust the Pennies and of course Scotland the south did not suffer as much.

Fingers crossed, if we can get to 10k subs before the end of the years I’ll have a lot more confidence in it being a full time venture.
Well done guys, many years driving still left in that panda now
For sure, next owners gonna love it 😂👍

The editing on this video is very, very good as is the choice of music which I enjoyed as much as the content!

That will be a cracking wee car for someone now 👍👍
Its going to do someone a good few years at least 😂👍
It's good that charlie has a specialty in painting wheels, there could be some money in it, refurbing alloys as a side line.
If we ever get a premises one day id love to get the equipment to powder coat, its so much quicker.
Now it IS definitely ready to sell👍😁
Thanks Tim, the new owners getting a good one.
Great vid lads keep them coming
Thanks Mark

Yeh you can still get a 4x4 ours wasn't though
Lovely Jubbly video Scottie's, you can tell it's a Scottish registered car when you removed the wheels.
Yes mate, good old surface rust 😂
Do you mind what video you mentioned your impact gun? Pretty sure you had a link to it but I can't find it now

Back drums not discs
Drums yes
@@HomeBuilt you did call them discs though, not having a go by the way.
You should never jack the vehicle up on the axle beam..they can bend ,
I worries, it’s fine as long as you spread the load.
Been doing it for years 👍

Can't believe you didn't even tighten the wheel nuts up correctly, amateur right there
All torqued to spec mate
@@HomeBuilt I thought they had to be done top bottom then left and right ones? Not done up around the wheel?
In a star pattern
@@REDLINE6969 you are 100% correct they have to be done up in a star pattern. Basic Mechanic's.
@@HomeBuilt good job mate but always do the wheel nuts up in a star pattern!

Love this. I’m looking at trying to do some work on my Panda. Never done much other than battery changes myself.
Have never seen such a build up of rust in a car ,those hubs look a state, remind me never buy a car in Scotland, whats with all the road salt.
They tend to look worse than they are with surface rust, we do get a lot of salt up here.
Used to buy a lot mainly in cities in England mostly small stuff toyota yaris and mirca for years got to know the hot spots for rust the Pennies and of course Scotland the south did not suffer as much.
what the f....is this english ehehhe so funny like german or holland
Use wd 40 to clean brakes etc.
