- In this video, I share my 1 year of game dev journey for 2023, which started off with KIRO II, had a few game jam games, and ended up with Okashi Towers.
KIRO II: The Wizards Guild was an online multiplayer dungeon crawler where you can play with up to 6 people to navigate dungeons, level up, defeat dungeon bosses and collect loot and spells.
Blekohjam was a series I did where I would sit down for 2 hours to make a game based on the prompt generated by the wheel.
Okashi Towers is a real time strategy game with tower defense elements. - Наука та технологія

Hmmm well I’d say at the very least I think if I want a game to do well I need to put more thought into how I will market a game especially on the steam page before I decide to even work on an idea, like if it has an interesting mechanic be able to really show that off by just seeing gameplay. Idk at the end of the day it needs to look fun to play and polished without even having to play it. I also probably need to stop making obscure genre games lol
hey if its not too much trouble do you mind me asking what is your full time job. also maybe in the future you can do a video about how you manage time for game dev with a full time job. to tell the truth it is something that i struggle a lot. love your content and i wish you best of luck and courage to work on your up coming release.
Well I worked as a software engineer/senior software engineer for about 11 years but this past year I took a break from doing that since I was pretty burnt out on working for big corporate companies haha
But for a long time I just did gamedev after work, I usually would work->go for a run->work on gamedev for about 2-3 hours which never really got easy but I enjoy working on games so I did it anyway 🤖
