The heartbreaking side-story of Ezio Auditore & Cristina Vespucci, with clips both from Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood. Played on PC in 1920x1080 so the graphics are as good as the can get.
I recently played through AC2 and Brotherhood and together they make such a good story! So I thought i would use the cutscenes to make a story-based film, and almost without actual gameplay.
But before is start with that I think i need a stronger computer, because Im on a PC and mine is getting kinda old so the framerate drops when capturing. This clip is at 20 fps at the highest, and the sound is a bit laggy. I also thought it was not worth to upload a 1080p version, beceause the file would be too big and the upload time really long.
I've started making a series about Ezio's life, first part:

The Cristina memories were my favourite part of Brotherhood.
I didn't play the last one so I was like WHAT THE FUCK when I saw she was gone

Federico: It doesn't matter. See, little brother, most men are so afraid of beautiful girls that, anyone who actually talks to them has an advantage! Just make it up as you go. my favorite quotes.
Swastika Zero Wish the world was still the same. Now, men are not afraid of rejection itself, but being reported as a stalker in case of rejection. Almost every State has strict laws against this kind of thing, which are regularly abused by women. I think women are more at a loss than men.
@@-intrepid Just do it like that in the bar, at least that is what I always do, just talk pure bullshit 😂
Intrepid u just talk to them. Like a friend...
I’m like Ezio when it comes to this except a situation similar to this happened I stopped the guy and got in trouble for interrupting some king of freakish fore play
When i started AC brotherhood, I've immediately noticed that Ezio was changed. I though he became more mature than he was in AC2, so maybe that's why he's more serious. But then.. I lived Cristina's memories, which Ezio was trying to forget because too painful, and I realised everything at last. This explains why Ezio is kind of Distant in this game. He has lost everything except his mother and his sister.
I simply love Ezio's story. He's not only a video game character.
It's one of those things we can relate to. I found it cool that you could explore the repressed memories of his love for Cristina. It makes his story and character more interesting. I learned repression of memory while reading a psychology book. I've done it before with a girl I once loved and all I remember was our first date and the night we met..tbh I don't remember how we fell out. it just gives Ezio that much more of the human element
In the end of revelations when Ezio talks with Desmond, man what a character
Making it worse for him was that later in Brotherhood Ezio lost his mother to an illness leaving him and Claudia as the last two of their family
Well not to mention the siege of the town he built at the very beginning…
I get it now. I remember in Assassin's Creed 2, during Savonarola's Arc, the Memory Sequence in the map is labelled "Repaired Memory", which is mean, it was broken. Ezio was trying to suppress his memory about Christina, during which, she died on that arc.. His memory was "broken"
Took me almost a year to realize, shame on me...
That would make perfect sense if The Orsi Brothers mission wasn't also a broken memory.
Ezio is one of the few video game characters that will always be close to my heart.
Same here, he's my favorite dimensional on afk arena
Edward as well.
Still?
"Who cares what he wanted? I loved you" - That's so deep
That got me too
Well she should gone with him when he was planning to leave the city in the memory 2 than she wouldn't have gotten engaged in the first place but no she wanted to remain with her cruel unpolite father all the way bad idea indeed right guys
For me "I wish we could have a second chance"
Ah romance
@@drewhardingno ezio was on a mission and the templars knew who he was if he ever involved Christina in his life she would be in danger and they would use her to get to him.
First love never dies. Even when he was already with Sofia, Ezio still mentioned Christina and something withered inside him when she died. Christina will always be his first love.
Damn it... 18 years and I cried like a baby girl... I just feel so connected to Ezio, and just feel exactly what he would have felt at that moment :'( ... He was (and is still) a part of us.
You said exactly what I feel.
I hear ya
i felt really sad when she was dying :'( because i loved Ezio character and his love story was touching!
That some serious bleeding effect
I love how they put most of these stories about Christina in AC:Brotherhood to prevent AC2 from being a romance game. Very smart move by Ubisoft.
back when ubisoft actually was smart about implementing stuff instead of throwing every random thing in the game and hoping it would work rofl
Ohhh thanks OuO I was worried because everybody talked about christina and I just finished AC2 and didn't see a thing from her! It's from brotherhood then ^^
@@deadgirlalive from what I understand this was in the book assassins creed reconnaissance (novelized version of ac2) and it was so popular fans demanded to see this in the game. Ubisoft added it for brotherhood and retconned it as repressed memories
cg123ize I played both of these games many years ago but I didn’t get this final mission of Cristina being killed. Is this some sort of DLC or I just forget I’ve played this
@@bon88bon11 you forgot it they are not part of the story
how the hell did she not know that was Ezio kissing her? he never changes his clothes. lol
well it's been 8 years since she saw him so forgetting his outfit is not really unrealistic
who the hell were that dress except ezio.its totally unrealistic. even though i am a hardcore ac fan but have to admit it was unrealistic. if he was in normal out fit it would make sense
RedDragon monks dress like that too
Without Cape
There are also some Nobles wearing Capes while going around town
And people wearing white clothings
And seeing different people wearing different clothes for over 8 years with only Face and Pendant to remember Ezio by
I hope he washes his clothes. However they did during the renaissance period.
I mean her husband never wore that so...
THIS is what assassin's creed is all about. such a wonderful love story. the newer games don't even come close to this level
"She need not even know it's me!" Yes Ezio, except for the fact that you're wearing the same thing you did when you had a 10 minute make out session with her.
To be fair it had been 8 years.
@@debopamseal1072 u would still remember smth like that
It really shows how much ezio still loves cristina, just from the panic in his voice at the end, and the emotion in his face and just the tone of his voice when she was dying in her arms... And how cristina always kept the necklace... Its so sad :/ best side-story i've ever played.
"Ezio, dont you know? I've always been with you"😢
Ezio will always be part of me. I was 12-13 when i started this game and i remember i was so obsessed with him, I SWEAR. Now i'm 18 and i'm still here and in love with him.

It feels that Ezio loved Cristina more than Sofia
Awesomekid120 haha
We didn't see Ezio try so hard with Sofia. He was still always really interested in her from the moment he saw her and made funny jokes/compliments when they were talking. He just was afraid of getting too close with her because it would endanger her (and it did), that's why he didn't try that hard. He also had a really important mission there so I guess he just didn't focus on Sofia that much. I'm sure he loved her very much, possibly as much as Cristina. I think he also deeply valued her passion for knowledge and intelligence as well as her looks. I don't think it was really more than her looks and kindness with Cristina.
Most people have a hard time of forgetting their first one.
Xuanming Lu yea that's and especially senses she died in his arms
In revelations Ezio writes a letter to Claudia saying that he feels a love for Sofia he didn’t think was possible after Kristina. So I’d imagine he loves Sofia in a more mature way
I think this mini story is my favorite in all video games, AC2 and brotherhood were the best AC by far with the best hera. The story was soo touching.
Think its cause you get to grow up with ezio as he turns into a master assassin, plus you care for him cause he relates more to us. Unlike connor he was just boring, Altiar was just a kick ass assassin who showd just about no feelings.
My heart hurts for him.....
"I will follow her a ways, see where she lives."
Me: uuummmmmmmm....
But ezio is a good guy, so it's ok
lol
My man Ezio is gonna get me too'd over something he did in 2010 damn

I know the pain you are going through, Ezio. I lost Maria to someone who I once called my friend. They are both in a better place, brother. Be at peace, Maria.
See! Ubisoft can explain a better love story in 13 mins! Unlike twilight which explains it in 4 books!
Can we stop mentioning Twilight? Nobody cares about Twilight anymore. Just let it die and enjoy the video.

In brotherhood you can unlock them by passing as many missions as you can with a full synchronization. Each time it says Memory of Cristina unlocked, you can find a broken heart icon on the map. There you will find these cutscenes.
13 minutes that had more feels than the whole game of Assassin's Creed Odyssey
facts
It’s no wonder that so many of the Animus users went insane while reliving their ancestor’s memories. The animus isn’t just playing those memories out like a movie, the user is experiencing those sights, sounds, feelings and emotions.
For Desmond to experience Cristina’s death, he already had to be very synchronized to Ezio, meaning that Desmond would’ve experienced the same heartache pain and extreme guilt that Ezio felt when Cristina died. Not to mention all of the other experiences that led up to that point.
Imagine vicariously falling in love through memories, experiences and actions that aren’t your own, only to have it wrenched away.
True love, Ezio knew it on the spot. Fortunately all the right pieces fell in line…. This makes this such a heartbreaking story
always hits me right in the feels :(
He literally lost everything. His family and his girl :(
Charles Lee killed Cristina Vespucci
I love how Ezio's voice slowly gets deeper
There should be a alternate scene to this where ezio can save her!! This is too much
Mr Asylum Alan Ezio Auditore: the life of an Assassin is pain, you suffer it, you watch it happen, and you hope that you can help it disappear in time
Agreed
I mean considering this is a memory from one of Desmond's ancestors, there was no way _to_ change her fate.
I understand your feeling, but wouldn't make sense

It sucks that ubisoft made their relationship end short I wish they extended their relationship more or I wish they were together forever but it's 2016 Ezios career ended Ezios will always be my favorite assassin!
Jeez... How did 2016 pass by so fast. It's been 5 years already wtfff

nostalgia..... rip federico, best big brother ever
This story is overwhelmingly sad... It is a great example of how omissions can play a bad joke. During the second sequence Cristina wasn’t ready to oppose parent’s opinion. The next time Ezio didn’t insist on her coming to Monteriggioni and living there, for example. In Venezia both of them were separated by years of being apart.
At last, only when everything stopped to matter, they opened their true feelings.
I was contemplating on a happy end of the story, but taking in consideration their natures i couldn’t make up a love ending.
If the youth knew, if the old could - as we say
Their meeting is unforgettable. I love the way they meet, with Ezio who blows everything and Cristina saying "What? Why are you standing there?" I laughed. But at the end, that's really sad, knowing how they'll end up. Cristina didn't deserve her fate.
It felt so refreshing to see Ezio beat Vieri to a pulp after he tried to SA Christina
My five year relationship just broke up couple of days for now, and now i watch ezio's break up ... damn i can feel the pain ..
Jesus christ how did that happen???
@@regularassyoutube2581 yeah and you are going to make him remember his sorrows after 6 years....how truly convenient

These two are really bittersweet. Excellent writing with the story between these two, it always made me emotional.
The "CRISTINA... RUN!!". I felt that one. The panic in his voice... what a performance
I've played assassins creed for years. I always knew there was a way to relive moments with cristina, but never did. I always figured it wasn't important. Now that I've seen this, it nearly brings me to tears. I know in revelations while writing to claudia he mentioned her while talking about sofia. I never understood that part, and never cared to. Watching this brings a whole new light to ezios life, burying his family and all....
Yea, the life of an assassin isn't an easy one, all of the assassins have lost something important in their life.
I feel so sorry for her :( She really liked Ezio and wanted to spend her life with him. But it was to late.
I love how his voice develops over the course
I always have tears whenever I see these two :(
These missions felt so much more emotional than the actual campaign
We're they side missions? I never do side missions
"With this mask, she need not know it's me"
- Ezio, in his classic Assassin outfit of which was passed down from his father.
Her last words made me cry he really loved her now I understand why he met Sofia in the third game
All these years and this story is still so beautiful and tragic 😭
Ubisoft was never able to "repeat" Ezio. I would really enjoy playing a PC remake of this game.
This is so depressing :( poor ezio
The feels..
Cristina's death is what made me cry a lot when I first played the game.
This story reminds me of, me and my first love/first real long relationship, even though she wasn’t the one in the end. There will always be a special soft spot for her in my heart.
To this day I still hope she’s doing well even though it didn’t work out in the end, due to different inspirations in life. She wasn’t a bad girl and she did make me very happy but,
She just wasn’t the one that was meant for me.
First love never dies, my friend. But worry not, soon you will find the woman who you will spend your life with

This was the most romantic yet heartbreaking story Ive ever seen...
I've never cried so much at a game before oh my god.
Man this game soundtrack is like something that only happens once in eternity ❤
Still a better love story than Twilight.
I miss Ezio so much, RIP to the most badass assassin that ever was. I shed real tears
Why does Ezio’s story have to be so tragic 😭 has had so many people close to him die
How I miss you Cristina

Such an amazing love story
It broke my heart...a true love that never got to be...its sadder than death itself.
"Requiescat in pace, My love" Best quote ever !
I have played this part numerous times and seen this alot of times, but I still get a lump in my throat after watching the end.
I played AC 1 and 2 when I was 18. It was a great game. Year after my dad's gone. My sister was too young to do such things so I, as a statutory heir, had to handle all the family tragedy and protect my mom against fake conplaint and testament. Three years later I lost my girlfriend because I still had to handle the situation. Now I'm 30 and somehow have had a chance to finish Brotherhood and Revelation. Now I really understand the life of Ezio. Great gaming experience and huge respect to the AC writer.
the moment when she still had his necklace before she dies, that shit hits my feeling like a fucking truck
Derrick Zha Esh
Ezio wearing the most distinct drip, even in those times, in fact the exact same clothes as the last time they spoke "with this mask covering half my face and not discussing my voice at all, she'll never know it's me"
"I wish we could have had a second chance" Makes a grown man cry. These games are timeless.
