+Lazy Spark Don't know if you played AC:Brotherhood, but in AC2, in-game NPCs (non-player characters) like the townfolk actually move their lips, and jaws when they talk.... whereas in AC:Brotherhood, much, if not all of that feature was removed entirely. By AC:Revelations, you couldn't even switch to 1st-person view, which would let you see people's facial expressions close-up if you wanted. What I'm trying to say is that AC2 was even better-made.... or more precisely, more "complete" than AC:B and AC:R.

Assassin's Creed II is a masterpiece. I played it at least three times and I enjoyed it every time I played it. It hast got everything I love in video games. The game has got a great story, an even better Character, great sidecharacters and an impressive world! The atmosphere is amazing! Running over the cities rooftops feels so great!

Honestly found it brilliant how all the nitty gritty of the Assassin-Templar struggle was hidden until the end of the game and for the subsequent games. He was just a man, looking for answers, and avenging his family, and along the way he becomes wiser, stronger, shielded from the more complicated stuff until he was ready. He came to learn and understand the meaning of the creed, and the importance freedom holds, eventually, over time, through observation, through action, not just it being pushed on him or dumped with exposition. What's there not to love, and not to understand? Ezio was a truly excellently written character, and this game and story was wonderfully crafted.
For me, the order of easiest to connect to (playable) main characters in the AC franchise is like this (going from easiest to hardest to connect to): 1. Eagle Bearer Kassandra (AC Odyssey) 2. The amount of sass in this game makes it even a thousand times better than it already is. The first few missions with the Auditore Family are pure gold.

Yes, Ezio's vocal progression across the games is really impressive! Roger Craig Smith did a great job evolving Ezio’s voice from a carefree, young nobleman in *Assassin’s Creed II* to a wise, battle-hardened mentor in *Revelations*. You can hear Ezio maturing over the years, not just in the tone but in how he carries himself with more responsibility and reflection. It's one of the best examples of character development in games, not just visually or through the story, but vocally too!
The interactions between Leonardo and Ezio are pure friendship really.

Roger Craig Smith did a great job evolving Ezio’s voice from a carefree, young nobleman in *Assassin’s Creed II* to a wise, battle-hardened mentor in *Revelations*. You can hear Ezio maturing over the years, not just in the tone but in how he carries himself with more responsibility and reflection. It's one of the best examples of character development in games, not just visually or through the story, but vocally too!
