Was fortunate to attend an OLP seminar in London and was completely blown away. I learnt more in a few hours than I had done from 10 years playing and attending coaching conventions. Keep up the great work LB!
You have to be in order to play the positions. It’s very technical in the movements and positioning of your body that you have to know what your doing or you’ll get beat every time.
I had no idea this guy was still around. I only know him as that OL that was pretty good that signed with Cleveland and got injured immediately. Nice to see he is passing on his knowledge to younger guys.
PLEASE DO! Especially Chris Hubbard, the dude is beyond garbage. Greg Robinson is just lazy and takes plays off, which is shitty but he does ok when he's feeling it but Hubbard is just terrible. Edit: It's a shame how bad our Oline is (besides Tretter and Joel) when this guy lives in Cleveland.
When you cut for a show all muscles shrink due to lack of glycogen and water. Bodybuilder's calves also appear smaller relative to the rest of their body.
I remember LeCharles Bentley was a BEAST for the Saints and around the same time 2 or 3 cases of staph infection were found at the Cleveland facilities. Happy to see him and to have found his true purpose
As a 52 yr old former Center myself I remember him he was a problem, I appreciate good Center play it all starts with the Center without him nothing happens. My son is a 15 yr old 6 foot 260 Center and Defensive tackle he found Mr. Bentley's videos very helpful, glad to see he's helping football out because he's very, very, intelligent used to love watching play wish he didn't get hurt but God does things for a reason, there is a purpose and reason for everything
He is a great! Great!! Technical Coach and trainer!! I've used a lot of his teaching to my players and got great results! I thank him so much for everything he taught me.
Awesome for him, so glad he was able to keep his leg as well as take control of his life after Football, especially what he went through and how sudden and almost unfair but he powered on like a Beast
Damn man. I was all hyped from the excellent coaching, then I learned the horrible things that happened to him. Very glad he’s still here, and teaching to be the greatest.
Bentley sounds like he's from the Bill Parcells school of coaching :D "You might not be the most talented, but you'll be the smartest. Don't beat yourself."
NFL GameDay morning crew should send Michael Irwin there, he could play the part of pass rusher. Lets see what he says about the linemans after that experience.
That MRSA infection nearly killed several players. It’s was kind of a disgrace that once the team learned about it that other players still contracted it & had to fight over compensation.
Man, I don't know what it is with Saints Olinment. Bentley leaves, goes to a new team and gets destroyed by MRSA. Career over. Then the Bucs sign Carl Nicks from the Saints for big money, gets destroyed by MRSA. Career over. That is an oddly specific coincidence.
This is what it is to be a TRUE professional at life I salute to him and all who think and do as he does and I will do my best to follow and complete my journey as a person hope everyone does the same
1:43 jack conklin you should get your right foot pointed straight and eliminate that knee valgus or you are going to have major knee problems. better start watching kelly starett mwod
“You don’t necessarily need to be a good athlete to do it.” Le’Charles Bentley on Offensive Linemen Yeah but you have to at least be 6’2”, which is short for an Olineman & at least 290 pounds. At a minimum. What is that? 1% of the population? Not including obese people who can’t walk a flight of stairs They are insanely large humans😁 Some of these guys are 6’5” and 300+ pounds but can outrun 99% of the population. They are pretty insane athletes 😆.
Most of the time coaches have a easier job Coaches teach you something you usually love and you are usually there on the field trying to please them to get a spot. Teacher have to teach about something that sometimes both of you don't care about and you are in classroom because you have to and not for the love of the subject.
@@ricoconti3141 yes probably my fault for not describing it better but It's the fact that it's easier to be a coach than a teacher And the fact that everyone on a field agreed to be there and most definitely wanted to do that. While on the contrary in classroom both teachers and students are often just part of the system that obligated them to do their part. These factors make it easier for coaches to be more involved and relate and teach the real values of life. And also practically coaches have more time to talk about life with players. Teachers are after way more students in totality and approach them in one hour shifts class after class.
@@ricoconti3141 more simply It's just that sports are way better subject that actually means something and tells you something about yourself your character and how life goes. It's very unnatural to go from ... and this is how an atom is structured To ... ok now a little talk about people's character and why you should always try hard no matter what. Sports just put you as a person under much more pressure then knowing academic stuff and demonstrating that knowledge.
Basically To be trained and be coachable you need to work on not just muscles but also your perseverance and determination work ethic sportsmanship and discipline To be taught and learn textbooks subject is a work exclusively on your memory and comprehension
Sign the top center of the free agent class, and then watch him suffer a career ending injury on the first play of training camp!! And he also... got a staph infection...
Ummmmmmmm how R U not the Browns Oline coach or at the least why are then entire Oline not in your Gym getting better because whoever's the coach now not feeling him

Wow, loved loved the Cam Wake reference. Under rated and not forgotten by real fans.
Wake made 5 Pro Bowls and over 100 sacks...that's hardly underrated. Underappreciated maybe...but not underrated.
wow, hated hated the comment. Overrated and forgotten right after replying
He has proved it to me, most if not all good o linemen are very intelligent.
You have to be in order to play the positions. It’s very technical in the movements and positioning of your body that you have to know what your doing or you’ll get beat every time.
Few good NFL players arent gonna be smart. Everybody is talented yo
They get the highest scores on the wonderlick test
Bruh
Look up Larry allen interview
I had no idea this guy was still around. I only know him as that OL that was pretty good that signed with Cleveland and got injured immediately. Nice to see he is passing on his knowledge to younger guys.
he almost died due to that injury..
Get the Cleveland o-line in here and teach them a thing or two
Your profile picture messes with my brain. Lol

Edit: It's a shame how bad our Oline is (besides Tretter and Joel) when this guy lives in Cleveland.
Crazy thing is the browns had good olines when they were trash
TKD i think at one point they had Joe Thomas, Alex Mack, Mitch Schwartz and that was a solid o line
Joe Rutherford Cleveland is the Factory of sadness. It is where career’s are wasted or go to die.
We just gonna ignore the fact this mans calves are better than the entire Mr. Olympia field...
Most body builders avoid intense/explosive cardio that most NFL atheletes do. Im pretty sure that is why
When you cut for a show all muscles shrink due to lack of glycogen and water. Bodybuilder's calves also appear smaller relative to the rest of their body.
@@blindhydra it also helps the muscle belly of his soleus looks rather large. Good genetics help alot with calves and forearms

One of the best offensive lineman the Saints ever had
That smile at the end when coach says "nicely done"... Such a great feeling

Not only was it the first day of camp, it was the first PLAY of training camp. Damn.
Offensive Line: Guardians of the Quarterback, Enforcers of the Offense 😤💪🏽
Elflein looking like he bout to have a emotional breakdown
lmao at first I thought "Guess that medicine ball's heavier than it looks" but then I realized no he just looks like that every play
He is a great! Great!! Technical Coach and trainer!! I've used a lot of his teaching to my players and got great results! I thank him so much for everything he taught me.

The entire giants offensive line need to go to that place
Actually, Massie already is training there and Kyle Long had at least some sessions 3 years ago or so.
Truly incredible.
Oh so this is why defensive players tell the OL not to make them visit AZ in the spring, makes sense now
This was great need more of this tbh
Damn man. I was all hyped from the excellent coaching, then I learned the horrible things that happened to him. Very glad he’s still here, and teaching to be the greatest.
Jack Conklin balled out for Cleveland this year
Bentley sounds like he's from the Bill Parcells school of coaching :D
"You might not be the most talented, but you'll be the smartest. Don't beat yourself."
the real offensive line "whisperer" would be dante scharnecia
Han Yolo and Mike Munchak
Jim mcnally as well
Well he needs to stop whispering and start yelling cause the Patriots o-line has stunk so far this year.
@@j2times2006 not bad considering the injuries and even if they were healthy there is no one of note on that line.
Love love OL!!!
He has a great mindset.
Love this dude.
INCREDIBLE STORY
This man looks like a linebacker
Hershey B just how big do you think linebackers are?
He looks more like a defensive end
Jackson Callahan 1 example, James Harrison
Thorns James Harrison flow
buckeyesfan2222 funny thing is defensive tackles still stay fat as hell
My favorite Name for a NFL player ever.
I always wondered what happened to mr Bentley, great to see him doing big things
1:10 Aooo almost had it 😩👌🏽loooookkung ass 🤣🤣🤣
Le'charles
LeCharles was a monster on my Saints O line.
I see my guy Alex Cappa in there, no wonder he’s made such a big jump in technique from Year 1 to 2
He was great with the Saints but he loved his home town .
It's weird, Bnetley looks in much better physical shape now than he did when he was playing. Such a shame how his career ended.
THAT is a great story!
The NFLPA needs to hire him as a life coach for the incoming punks.
The Texans o line need this
Respect
Anybody else play Dline but want to know how Oline gets better so you can be 3 4 steps ahead of them lol ??
A • y’all can try but y’all ain’t gettin past me🤫Sike😂
Miles McCue lol sound good
I always had him or Olin Kruetz on my Madden fantasy teams
can you please come to Chicago ? we have the worst O line in the NFL by a wide margin
My boy Conklin
NFL GameDay morning crew should send Michael Irwin there, he could play the part of pass rusher. Lets see what he says about the linemans after that experience.
C town az !!!!
What are those red Jordans Bentley has on
them calves serious.
Never give up
How can I train with this guy?
Awesome!
1:50 Now Browns Right Tackle
This is what bravery is.
Dj Humphries, Kelvin Beachum, and Greg Robinson needs some more
That MRSA infection nearly killed several players. It’s was kind of a disgrace that once the team learned about it that other players still contracted it & had to fight over compensation.
My dad was good friends with Lecharles
The Bears should hire this guy as their O-line coach
Can we do lineman lessons?
Need to send the Atlanta Falcons up to his camp to get schooled up.
wow alex cappa was there
woah surprisingly theres a lot of players that were not here like Keven Mawae Bruce Matthews Dermoti Dawson Lary Allen ++ more

Glad he's found a second life. Bet deep down he wishes he'd have never gone to Cleveland. Did they ever get the mrsa thing straightened out.

Sounds like LeBron's father
In my opinion the Offensive Line is the most unacknowledged position in all of football.
DJ Humpries is average. Hardly among the top Left Tackles in the NFL.
