- Scarlet Badis are one of my favorite fish. I finally secured a female and have bred them twice passively in their grow out tank! This video is my take on a new and improved passive breeding method! Let me know what you think!

Nice I will keep this in mind when I breed mine
New Subscriber and I have fallen in love with these little ones. I would love a pair 😍🥰
Can’t wait til they are ready to go. I will definitely get a pair! Great video
thank you!
Great video, been thinking about getting some, such pretty fish, new subscriber 🇬🇧
Hey. I'm very interested in a female. I'm not looking to breed or anything, I've just heard that they only grow to 5/8 inch long. This is truly tiny, and because they aren't schooling fish it makes them perfect for a tiny tank project I have in mind.
I haven't been very successful in breeding them at the level i would like. I am working on new strategies! I hope to have some available soon!
Hey daku- cheers from my fish room channel in Chicago, where I just subscribed to yours! I found you researching Badis for a breeding project and your video was super helpful :) Come visit me if you get the chance. cheers!
How old are your fry when they start swimming around in the tank? I have 2 pair I'm trying to breed. Thinking I need to change the setup of my tanks.
I have yet to see them as wigglers only juvies since they're so small. I think like most fish they'll start free swimming in about a week.
@@dakuaquatics I finally found 1 fry swimming around. I need to do something different. I was expecting a few more.
can we get an update on how this is going? do you have more females?
this particular setup didn't work well! I haven't had any success with breeding more unfortunately!
What’re you feeding the babies?
micro organisms and biofilm in the tank, then baby brine shrimp.
Hello, I am very interested in a female scarlet badis or two for my own breeding project. If ever you have any available, I would be very willing to buy at a price you deem fair. Please contact me if ever you do have any.
